CHAPTER 48: THE BIG MOVE

Today is the day!!

I've never been so excited about lifting heavy boxes in my life. I couldn't sleep last night because I was so excited about moving into my new apartment.. the new apartment that Jeremy helped me get... but still.

I'm glad to finally be living somewhere with hot water and a door. I removed my cherished items from their bubble wrap and set them on the side table. Taking centre stage on the sideboard in the living area was an ornament of a couple in love, holding hands in mitz of a dance. It belonged to my parents and it was my favourite.

I hope I'm happy here. It's been a long time since I've actually been excited about something.
