My body visibly stiffened, I didn't turn around but I felt him looming behind me.

Slowly my legs moved to turn me around facing him. And I couldn't help but suck in a breath when my gaze met with those intense grey eyes regarding me with a mischievously amused gaze.

"The little fawn broke out into a deer." His voice held the same amusement in his eyes.

"Until when do you plan to keep addressing me like that? I'm not a fawn, I'm a werewolf."

"Says the little cat to a lion. I'm not just a cat, I'm a ferocious lion like you." He remarked sarcastically, his hands moving up to twirl a strand of my hair in his fingers trailing it down slowly as if savoring the texture in his hand.

And to my surprise, I felt my heart flutter for a faint moment, that minute feeling of uncontrollable connection snuck into me once more, trapped in his deep yet playful looking gaze I couldn't look away, rooted in my spot I heard the rhythmic thumping of my own heart in my chest.
