Despite being in Eliot's arms, Penny still noticed my strange expression.

For a moment I thought he could be a vampire.

A vampire in Bimmerville? That was impossible, after the blood wars years ago, no vampire would dare step back into Bimmerville again.

I shook my head giving Penny a smile, "It's nothing."

The drive back to the alpha's mansion was slightly long, but I enjoyed every moment of the breeze in my face from the car window.

When we finally arrived at the mansion, Penny waved me goodbye as I walked through the large steel gates. I treaded my way up the cobbled paths until I walked up to the porch. A little hesitant, but I pushed the door open after a while and I stopped in my tracks when countless eyes fell on me.

I thought the welcoming ceremony was already over by now.
