Chapter Fifty-Two

Anna.

I woke up to someone shaking me. I groaned in pain as I opened my eyes. My head was aching and hurting badly and I tried to move backwards resting my head on the headrest. 

The first thing I noticed was the blood on the headboard, my blood. It wasn't a lot, but it still made me sick to my stomach. I shut my eyes to the terrible pain now creeping to my neck and back

"Are you ok?" Ryder asked, and despite the fear in his eyes, I could see concern swirling in them.

He seemed to have been shocked out of his fear state when the car had hit us. His hands shook rapidly against the steering as he tried to get a hold of his car that was moving closer to the edge of the bridge.
