“Guys! I’m home.” I called out as I carefully shut the front door behind myself.

“Mia? Is that you?” Drew’s voice was the first one I heard as I slipped off Kaden’s jacket at the door and hang it up.

“Mia’s back! Great!” The unmistakable voice of Keri joined in.

I heard rustling and movement in the kitchen and could hear the TV turned up to a wrestling channel.

I sucked in a breath forcing my nerves down as I walked into the room making my presence known.

I could see Hayden and Scott lounged out in the kitchen as Keri and Drew pushed each other playfully in the kitchen while mixing something up.

None of them seemed to notice me so I cleared my throat.

All four pairs of eyes darted up and I saw the shock on all their faces as they froze at the sight of me…
