Nate woke up in the empty house and released a sigh of relief. Alex was gone so he could breathe again. His presence made him angry. It wasn’t just about Destiny.
There were many other reasons for him to hate his twin, which he couldn’t mention to Amelia. He couldn’t tell her everything. She was his only friend, and he was afraid of losing her. He couldn’t tell her the rumors about him were true. His dad didn’t run an innocent business. He was indeed the son of a Mafia leader.
