Clara made breakfast as her two friends were horrible cooks. She made scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. Gina helped heat up the milk while Raya remained seated at the dinning, waiting for Clara to bring out the dishes.
They had small conversations while eating breakfast. It was only then that Clara realized she hadn't made a call through to her mom since her arrival in Mystic Falls.
Wiping her finger clean, she quickly walked to the living room, grabbed her purse and brought out her cell phone.
She called her mother's number, it rang for some time before it connected and Clara heard her mother's voice from the other side of the phone.
"My goodness Clara, you scared me," her mother said.
<Clara and her friends got home already exhausted and tired. Dropping the shopping bags with a thud, All three of them slumped down lazily on the sofa and yawned. "No offense but I'd really appreciate it if you guys do your shopping without getting me involved next time," said Raya as a matter of factly. "Fine! "Bringing you along isn't much fun either" said Gina, rolling her eyes. Clara nodded, agreeing with Gina on this. She yawned harder before getting up on her feet. Saying goodnight to her friends, she walked back to her room. As tired as she was, Clara didn't fail to ta
When morning came, Clara and her friend were enthusiastic and eager to go see the beach, quickly they parked their stuff, sunscreens, hats, and all the things they would be needing into a bag and headed for the beach. On reaching the beach, Clara could see people cheering and laughing, some laying under umbrellas, wearing dark shades. The salty wind hit her nostrils and she felt the warmth on her face. She could feel the sand squishing slowly through her toes as she walked down the shoreline of the outer banks, the beach surely is Clara's favorite place to be.She walked along the shoreline some more before deciding to head back to where her friends were seated when she slammed into someone, she would have thought it was a brick wall, if it wasn't the faint scent of cologne
Clara ignores her friend's curious eyes and focuses on enjoying the warm breeze and the sound of waves as it forces its way to the shore. Her mind was in turmoil, seeing Xander had made her realize something, something she long for but knew deep down was impossible. Who was he? The silver eyed person, and we're he? These thoughts ran through her mind. She had thought coming here would help her focus on her life, but arriving in this place had awakened some sort of feeling she wasn't able to design. For some reason she felt a strong pull, like she was being called out by something, but what?. All kinds of thoughts and questions flooded Clara's mind. They waited to watch the beautiful sunset before she a
Clara and her friends boarded a taxi and set off to meet the people they were going hiking with. The drive was longer than what Clara and her friends expected,By the time they arrived, the people were carrying their backpacks and trekking poles in readiness to leave.Quickly, they walked to where the group of people were standing. Between the men stood a girl in black shorts, a green tank top, with a pair of hiking boots, her dirty blonde hair dancing along with the wind.Clara and the others stride forward to where they were standing."Good morning" Clara greeted."Morning" they
By the time Clara and her friend reached home, the sun had already disappeared below the horizon. They slumped down on the sofa, tired. All they wanted was to have a nice bath and then climb into their warm beds and drift off to Dreamland. But that wish was interrupted by a knock on the door.Startled by the knock, Clara craned her neck only to see her two friends already dozing off on the sofa.Groaning tiredly, Clara walked to the door, peeked from the tiny hole before turning the door knob and opening the door to see a delivery guy standing at the door holding flowers, lilies to be precise.Clara narrowed her eyes to look at the man who was standing in f
Her eyes narrowed, ready to question her friends about the flowers, but then her mind recollected yesterday's event including the delivery man who was standing with lilies on their doorstep as well as the sender. "How did he even find her home address?" she asked herself. Very sure she hadn't said anything about where she lived to him. She bit her lower lips in distaste, she hated being stalked by anyone for any reason. She decided to draw the line and let him know that she wasn't interested in him even though he was good looking and almost identical to the man in her dreams. "Buzz buzz" her phone vibrated in her pant pocket, but Clara was too lost in thought to notice. "Hey pick up the phone" Gina said, nud
Gina had just finished applying light makeup on Clara's face, she didn't have to put too much effort as Clara herself is a beauty. "Now go get changed into something nice" Gina said, shooing Clara away into her room to go get dressed. Rolling her eyes at Gina's words,Clara walked into her room, and straight to her closet. She brought out the simplest outfit she could find as she wasn't dressing to impress anyone, especially not the person named Xander. If Gina hadn't suggested and nagged her to use some light makeup, she would never have applied any. She dressed in a white off shoulder jump-suit with tiny black stripes, pairing it with high heel sandals and a black mini handbag, Letting her dark hair fall below her shoulders and down to her waist. On getting into her room, Clara threw her mini handbag on the bed before crouching down to unbuckle her high heel sandals, kicking the shoes off her feet and sending them flying to different Corners in the room. She climbed in bed and pulled the covers over her head. Meanwhile, Xander was driving at full speed, he needed to get home before he would lose total control. He tightened his hands on the steering wheel as his wolf whispered nothing but evil ideas to him. He wanted them to go back and kill Clara for rejecting them. His eyes flashed between blue and yellow as Bardulf tried to take control of Xander. "That slimy bitch had the guts to reject us? Xander scoffed. "And who's fault is it? I told you
