"I thought of a way to save you, young she-wolf. But the only way I could think of saving you is to be punished instead of going with Alexander.

I howled softly to her, wanting to take the punishment instead of going with him. Suddenly, I felt my body start to change. I was now resting within her lap, naked.

"I will take the punishment," I spoke softly to her. I still have problems pronouncing my words correctly because of not talking for ten years now.

I saw her turn her head sideways while tears ran down her cheek.

"She Wolf," she said.

"Melena," I said to her. "My name is Melena Hapstan.

She paused for a minute, staring at me with great concern.

"You have a beautiful name," she said as she tried to smile.

She ran her hand through my white hair as she sobbed.

"I'd rather let you go with Alexander than for you to take the punishment," she said.

"No," I disagreed with her.

I was willing to do anything rather than go with that bastard.
