Scarlett's pov

I wake up to feel each and every cell in my body aching. Soft sheets laid under me, making me feel like I was laying on clouds.

Am I dead already?

Am I going to heaven?

Looking around I found those grey eyes staring at me. Just like they were before I lost consciousness, and I couldn't help. Lay my head back on the pillow.

Taking a deep sigh.

" You are still here. Where am I?"

I say. Lifting my hands to see some tubes inserted in my wrists.

" In my chambers"

He says in a low sad voice and I ignore it. Trying to pull on the tubes. To have him grip my wrist. Stopping me.

" Don't. That's IV. For your food and medicine."

I look at him in irritation. To drop my hands. Looking back at the ceiling, sighing.

" Fine. But what use is it when I am going to be dead anyw-"

He doesn't let me complete. And next I know his finger brushes my lip. To shut it. His eyes dark orbs of turmoil.

As he seethes.

" Don't you dare say that word."
