Adam POV I walked with Jenna up the stairs. It worried me when she healed someone but more so now that she was expecting our pup. I could not believe we were having a little girl. Our own. Sam POV I felt like I had betrayed a large secret sharing what Lana had shared with me. However, it begged the question what was going on with them. Was Lucas involved with Lana in some way? Was he compromised through Lana’s evil doings? Nobody really knew what the hell was going on. Looking to Sarah, I noticed she was not overly shocked at the revelation about her brother. “Did you know?” I ask her. She knows what I am talking about. Sarah POV “I would like that,” I reply shyly to Jack. I have a moment of anxiety at being so brazen to say yes. I do not want to lead him on. I am not ready for any relationship but getting away from this hospital sounds so appealing. “Great, let me get some clothes brought over for you and then we will leave,” he says. Jack POV Fortunately, the tour went really well. Jenna and Adam hosted Sam, Sarah, and I in their suite for dinner this evening. It was a great suggestion to do Sarah’s first dinner at the Pack that way. First so we could avoid any additional uncomfortable conversations and second so we could relax and enjoy the company. Sam POV We walk down the hall toward the meeting room. Adam asks Miranda and Rick if they would like anything before we start the meeting. Sarah POV This stranger was hugging me, but it felt completely natural. “I cannot believe there is someone else,” the woman called Miranda says. Sam POV I feel my insides churn as I get closer to the dungeons. I can feel the tension around me as Adam, Jack and Sarah walk with me. We had agreed Sarah would come with me to the cell, but Jack was not happy with that plan. He wanted to keep her close to him. He never trusted Lana and we still did not know what she was capable of. Sam POV Just one more click and the cell will be open. I feel sweat on my brow as I fight the urge to be with Lana. She continues tempting me, “Come on sweet Sam, just one more click,” she says.
