Sam POV I watched Josie take over as soon as we arrived at the Harvest Moon Pack, and I could not be prouder. She was in her element, and I recognized she was strong in her own her right. I knew it before but really saw and felt it when she took over as the Rogue Queen. Jack POV I bent over the woman named Tina to find she was dead. “Sweetheart we wanted to get more information from her,” I commented to her as I stood up from the dead wolf. “Too bad, she had to die,” Sarah replied coldly. “She was friends with Lana. Josie POV “Come with me, Josie,” Tim says. “Where are the children?” I ask him. “We will return the children once I have you safely in my arms,” he replies. My skin crawls thinking about being in his arms. “I do not believe you; let Sam go, return the children and I will go with you,” I reply to him. Sam continues to fight against the rogue holding him down. It is hardly a fair fight. Two rogues are holding Sam down while the other has him in a death grip. Josie POV I overheard Sam speaking with Adam. I knew things were complicated for us, I just wish I had not been such a fuck up and rejected him the first time. This would all be different. Alpha Lucas The pain is gut wrenching. I cannot believe I am free of the dungeons. I expect to wake up and this all be a dream. Sam POV I have my arm tossed around Josie’s waist as she lays naked on the bed face down. I find her sleep patterns cute to observe. She usually starts off in my arms but eventually pushes out of them to lay on her front dragging my arm around her. She always wants to be touching me, which is one of the many things I love about her. Jack had advised me that Alpha Lucas had woken up last night briefly but was resting again. Josie POV I was anxious now that Miranda was finally here. I wondered what she could tell me since I had seen her last. I felt a little ray of hope cross over me as I embraced the woman tighter in my arms.
