"Please, Eli... I can't do this. You're my brothers' best friend. What will they say when they find-" "You're my mate, Brie. And neither Xavier nor Xander can do a damn thing about it. You. Are. Mine... all mine." Eli whispers over my lips as he presses closer to me. My breath hitched and caught in my throat, and my heart beat quickened, creating tension inside me. Elijah Sterling is my brother's best friend. I was born a triplet, the only girl, to Alpha Alarick Dannelly and Luna Olivia. I have always been obedient and reserved. Never had a boyfriend, let alone... thought of being intimate with anyone. But the second I set foot back in my pack when I returned from college, I was met with Elijah's piercing gaze. His aura was fierce and provocative, and he's only gotten sexier over the years. How will I ever be able to compose myself around him? ~~~~ Brielle Dannelly sets off in a steamy mating bond with her childhood friend, Elijah Sterling, her new pack beta, and her new mate. But his love obsession for her is the least of her worries. What will she do when her old bully returns, with one goal: steal Elijah from her.

✨✨✨✨✨ Brielle's POV "Get one thing straight, you weak little mut- Elijah is mine. Look at him again, and I'll gauge your fucking eyes out. Understand?" Lorie, a girl in my high school, says as she grips my hair tightly, making my tears fall silently as she threatens me. It had been this way ever since I could remember. And it didn't get any easier as the years went by. Lorie didn't care that I was the alpha's daughter. Ever since I could remember, Lorie Garten had hated me. It wasn't just because of my appearance but because of who I was- the daughter of Alpha Alarick Dannelly and Luna Olivia Watson. She was pretty, wealthy, and popular. She hated that so many people admired and befriended me because I was the daughter of the alpha. I was a bit shorter than her, stronger, and wiser, but I hated confrontations and was too afraid to fight. It did help that my dad and my two brothers, who were my triplets, were overprotective of me as I grew up. They didn't allow me to do anything too harmful or tiring. They treated me as a delicate princess. Lorie hated that. Especially when she saw Elijah, my brother's best friend, being friendly and caring toward me, I couldn't help it. Eli and I had grown up together. His dad was my dad's best friend, and we were always together. If Eli wasn't hanging around my brothers, he was hanging out somewhere near me. There have been more than a few occasions where Eli has stood up for me, defending me from Lorie and her friends. She has had to talk to my parents and brothers a few times about her behavior toward me, but it only made things worse. She ensured I paid for the consequences and embarrassment she faced when scolded by her parents or mine. "I wasn't looking at Eli, Lorie. He's my brother's friend. That's why he was here talking to me. He just wanted to know when they were coming back," I said as I held her hand, tears falling from my eyes as I felt her yank on my hair harder. "Liar. I saw you. You were fucking looking at him with lust. You fucking whore. Do you think I haven't noticed that you like my man? Stay the hell away from him. Understand?" she says, making me close my eyes as the pain on my scalp intensifies. She pushes me, making me fall. My palms and knees scrape against the loose pebbles, making me wince at the feel of the tiny rocks scraping against my skin. Lorie had been dating a guy named Bryant for the past three months, but she hated me looking at Eli as well because she had a crush on him. I feel she's only using Bryant because he's easy to manipulate. But, ever since she had been dating Bryant, a top warrior in our pack, by the way... her ego had gone high off the roof, making her think she had more freedom to do to me as she pleased. And boy- was she taking advantage of it. She wasn't that stupid, either. She bullied me whenever Eli and my brothers weren't around. And she kept it from both of my parents as well. She knew I wasn't the kind to go tattle. "Just a few more days, Brie... just a few more days, and we are out of here." I thought to myself as I clenched my jaw frustratingly, looking at my scraped palms and cleaning off the dirt. "Come on, Lorie. Lunch is almost over; let's get some food before heading to our next class," one of her friends says as she smiles at me. They were happy to see my torment, murmuring amongst themselves. One of them kicks me slightly on my side, making me flinch. My wolf, Sienna, growls, making me turn away quickly as I shut my eyes to avoid letting them see my eyes change. Sienna is an aggressive wolf, but... she's unlike most wolves in my pack. She's a white wolf, and her eyes turn an icy blue, almost water-like, unlike most wolves that give off that fiery hazel. "The alpha's daughter," the girl who kicked me says mockingly, "More like the pack's loser," she adds, making the girls laugh. I can't help but sit there on the floor as I fight back angry tears. I was away from anyone, where no one could see me. Their usual spot to threaten and beat me was under the football field's bleachers. No one ever came down here during school time, so it was the perfect spot for them to treat me however they wanted. Sadly, it was the only place I found solace in. It was my quiet place, where I could think and be alone when they weren't around. Being the alpha's daughter had its benefits; I healed faster, so even if they were to beat me pretty bad, by the time I was walking back to class, all my bruises and wounds would have already disappeared. The broken bones took longer, depending on how badly they were damaged. But over the years, I had learned to mask the pain. Not even my brothers, my parents, or even Eli could ever tell I had a broken bone because of Lorie and her friends. She was a great actor, too. Everyone saw her as a nice girl who was like an angel. She volunteered everywhere, did so many things for school, and was even the school's student council president. Who could ever doubt such a model student, right? Only my best friend, Silvie, knew of my torture, but sadly, she couldn't say anything either. Silvie just so happened to be Lorie's stepsister. She had been born out of wedlock, and because of it, a lot of people looked down on her. Her mom was human, and because of her dad's power, Silvie was taken away from her mom and grew up with her dad and his wife. Lorie had made Silvie's life hell as well. Thus, our hell is bound to friendship. "Brie? Brie... oh my goddess, are you ok?" Silvie asks as she sees me getting off the floor and wiping the angry tears off my face. "I'm fine. Let's go to class." I say, forcing a smile on my face. "It was Lorie again, wasn't it?" she says, her voice laced with anger. "I'm fine, Silv. Don't sweat it. We have a class to get to; come on." I say, smiling as I sniffle and close my eyes, wiping my cheeks. Over time, my introverted self had learned to mask and suppress my emotions quickly. I sighed, closed my eyes, and changed. Then... just like that, I suppressed my feelings, walking away as if nothing had happened. Silvie caught up with me, sighing as she held the straps of her backpack tightly. "What happened this time? Did she hurt you again?" "Nothing happened. Just a little misunderstanding. But, all's good." I said, smiling at her. I know she didn't believe me. Still, I wasn't in the mood to talk about it. Thankfully, she didn't pursue the conversation, and we went about the rest of our day. We were nearing the end of the school year, just a few more days until our graduation. This meant that my brother and I would soon be eighteen years old. This also meant that my brothers would soon take over as the alphas of our pack. On the other hand, I decided not to take over with them. Instead, I would take off to further my studies in Italy, where my grandpa lived. I would be staying in the pack he was staying with. After that, I would return to the pack and take over a few businesses my dad had placed under my name. If all went well again, I would never have to deal with Lorie and her stupid friends. Of course, while in school, I would return now and then to ensure my brothers were not burning down the pack since they were known to be mischievous. But I couldn't wait to be out of here. As for my parents, since my brothers are taking over, Dad will be retiring, and they'll be moving to Italy as well.Brielle's POVI know I must have looked pretty clueless with my eyes bulging and mouth agape. Surely, I looked like an idiot...right? Why else would he have that stupid smile from ear to ear on his face? "Elijah... you're -" I still could not believe it.Sexy Eli is...my mate. I was so giddy, so ecstatic, and... nervous. So damn nervous that it made my knees weak.He grabbed my hand, pulling me along, making me almost fall as I stumbled. He opened the door to an empty study room by the library next to the ballroom. Let me tell you, our pack house is enormous, and I mean HUGE. It's almost like a damn resort. But I guess with a pack to hold thousands, it's no surprise this dancehall was overcrowded. There are study rooms everywhere for people to come in because my parents take education very seriously. Eli took advantage of finding an empty one, pushing the door open."Eli, what the hell?" I said as he slammed the door, turned the lights off, and caged me between the wall and him.
Brie's POV"Thank you for the ride, beta Eli. Bye, Brie." Silvie says as she closes the door behind her and smiles."Bye. See you tomorrow at my house. We'll pick up our dresses together, ok?" I said, making her smile. "Ok. See you," she says, and Eli drives away. The rest of the ride was awkward. I tried not to blush, but I could feel Eli's eyes on me the whole ride home. Eli kept his eyes on me, making me nervous. "So tell me, how was your day? Ready for the big day tomorrow?" he asks, making me look at him with a smile. "I am. I'm excited for my brothers." I say, making him smile. My brothers, who by now, if you haven't figured it out, are Xavier and Alexander. We are triplets. I'm the only girl of the three. I also have another little brother, Brandon, who is three years younger than I am. He's a big momma boy. He should have been in the ninth grade, but he's incredibly smart, and our school bores him, so he's been homeschooling since he was ten. This year, he'll be leaving
Brielle's POVI was relieved when I heard the sound of the last bell, signaling the end of school for the day."Alright, guys. Enjoy your weekend. Remember, final exam results will be posted on Monday. Good luck to all of you, and don't forget to pick up your caps and gowns, " our teacher announced. Cheers from a few students broke the class's silence, making me chuckle. I hurried to put my stuff back inside my bag and walked through the hallway. The halls were filled with students who hurried to leave or meet up with their friends, trying to get home or wherever they were heading. This last week of school was going to be chaotic, but I can't wait for the end of the school year. I had long ago been accepted to four universities close to Grandpa in Italy, but I had chosen the University of Milan. I can't wait to start classes there. "Brie, over here," my friend Silvie signaled as she waved through the crowd. I smiled, sprinting toward her. "Did you pick up your cap and gown already
