Cassius POV

The night of the equinox had finally come.

We arrived at the alpha’s home in a Jeep. Selena and I sat in the back, Luca drove, and Lucien stayed quiet in front. As soon as the car stopped, the mood changed. It became tense and serious.

Lucien turned around and looked straight at Selena.

“This is a test,” he said. “For all of us. Especially you.”
