On Ayira's way to the borderline going back to the New Moon World.
'I'm certain that he's our maste (mate), but something is really wrong with him, Ayira.' Sierra mumbled, trying to figure out what she sensed earlier.
'How could you tell?' She queried, confused about what her wolf meant with her words.
'He's not a nam (human). He's one of us. However, I couldn't connect with his wolf.' Sierra announced.
Ayira was dumbfounded. She paused for a moment, taking in Sierra's statements.
After two minutes, Ayira anxiously peeped out of her door. Then, she discreetly went out of her room when she perceived no one was there and directly walked towards the back door. She successfully got out of their house and was about to go to the woods where Aura's evadez (friends) were waiting for her. However, her heart almost jumped out from her chest when Alfredo, one of the Gammas, suddenly called her. "Hey, where are you going? Aren't you supposed to help the other omegas in the yard?" Ayira halted her steps. She swallowed a lump in her throat as she bowed
It was already late at night when Ben and Ayira arrived at the villa. They entered through the back door where the maid's quarters were located. "This is going to be your room. I'll introduce you to Sir Fernando and Sir Blaze tomorrow morning since it was late already. Take a rest." Ben explained as they stopped at a white-painted door. Ayira smiled. "Thank you, Ben." She was truly thankful. If not for their help, she's now married to Evan and became his Luna. Moreover, she got the chance to be near her mate.
Ayira's POV I wanted to introduce myself to the man and explain my side, but I thought he might not believe me. I sighed, hoping that Ben would come to clarify things to this man. Sierra told me she could connect to his wolf and informed him we were in trouble. However, I wondered why he was not getting out of his room. After some time, I opened my lips when I finally found the words to say. However, the man rushed at me, tugged my left arm, and dragged me towards the door. I could not react promptly as the man's actions startled me.
I sped up, putting on the fitted sheet, tripping between the left and right sides of the bed. However, as I was about to put on the last part of the bedding, I tumbled into the bed. 'Sierra, what are you doing?' I muttered as Sierra took control of my body. 'I'm not doing anything.' She denied it, but I knew what she did. "Aren't you done yet?" I heard Blaze ask in an irritated tone. I acted as though I was fixing the linen. "Almost done," I responded, without turning my head. 'Sierra, stop it. It's not funny!' I protested, as I still couldn't control the lower half of my body. But Sierra didn't respond. She ignored me and continued controlling my lower body. Sigh. What would I do? I peeked at Blaze and saw him walking towards the closet. I tried to get up but I couldn't.
Sir Fernando and Blaze were sitting in the wrought-iron chairs under the shadow of the maple tree in the garden. I couldn't understand, but my heart fluttered the moment I saw Blaze. I gazed at him as I walked towards them. Good thing he was not looking in my direction, as he was busy reading a newspaper. He looked serious, with his knitted brows and tightly pressed lips. 'He's beyond handsome, right Ayira?' Sierra mumbled in admiration. Well, I couldn't deny that he looked cool in his plain white shirt while strands of his hair were slightly waving in the soft wind.
I could do nothing but stamp my foot on the ground as I looked at the car speeding away from me. 'What would I do now?' I asked myself, gazing at the hundred-dollar bill in my hand. I knew I would get bored if I would only sit for two hours, especially now that I couldn't talk with Sierra. I sighed before I walked dejectedly towards the coffee shop. But before I could reach the entrance, a brilliant idea flickered in my mind. 'Why not?' I uttered with a mischievous grin on my lips as I realized that this was more fun than being with Blaze. I could do anything and I could go wherever I wanted.
Tears burned my eyes while my lips trembled. I felt so scared at that moment. 'Sierra? Sierra, I'm in trouble. I need your help.' I whispered. I had no choice. I had to wake her up. After calling her three times, she finally woke up. 'What trouble you got into again, Ayira?' She questioned, seeing the guards dragging me. 'Tell me, what should I do?' I queried after I explained what happened. 'You know w
'You heard it right. He said you would be his assistant in the meantime.' Sierra confirmed. I felt glad. It only means I could go to the Downtown Mall again. "Do you have any idea about the task of an assistant?" Blaze asked solemnly while he was busy driving. "Of course. I love reading books. That's why I have a little knowledge about the work of an assistant." I answered confidently. I wanted to say that I was a college graduate. That's why I had an idea. But I restrained myself as Ben told me it's better not to tell anything about my background.
