Days have passed and we really got used to living here on the island with our precious one. Summer also enjoyed some morning walks and laughed when his feet touched the sand.
I loved that priceless moment, hearing his giggles that were like music to my ears along with the soft laughs of his mom.
However, one morning, I woke up seeing Ayira beside me but my eyes widened when I did not see Summer in his crib.
“Where is Summer, Ayira?” I hurriedly asked her when I saw her open her eyes.
