Chapter Twenty - Seven : Making up

Alissa was restless when she arrived at the office the next day. She wanted to take a break tomorrow after her trip but realized she has a bit of an unsolved issue at the office which includes her beloved boss turns husband. Or vice versa, whatever.

She stood in front of the building and tap her feet a few times not sure whether to just go inside and face the music. She did make a mistake yesterday, leaving Daniel and misjudge him so badly. Well, not that bad since she didn’t get to say anything awful directly at him. Just to the people around her who were willing to listen.

Entering the building, she greeted the doormen and proceed to the elevator. She stands inside the elevator, taping her feet away, and bit her lip. She was so nervous about seeing him. She couldn’t figure out how to react in front of him later.
