Chapter 2

It was a dark and sultry night when Harley found herself among the chosen girls for selling stuff at the night club, She knew what her assignment was to keep an eye out for anyone who seemed suspicious and to distract them so her fellow dealers could make their sales without getting caught.

Harley got into position near the entrance of the club and scanned the crowd for anyone who looked like they might be a cop or informant. It wasn't long before she spotted a man who seemed out of place among the other club goers. He was dressed in a suit and tie and looked like he was in his late thirties.

Harley made her way over to him, swaying her hips seductively as she walked. "Hey there, handsome," she purred, batting her eyelashes. "What brings you to our humble abode?" Harley asked,

The man named Johnny Smithfield looked her up and down, his eyes lingering on her short skirt and low cut top, "Just looking to have a good time," he said, his voice rough and gravelly,

Harley smiled, inwardly pleased that her distraction technique was working, "Well, you've come to the right place, the drinks are flowing and the music is pumping, Why don't you let me buy you a drink?" Harley said, and she smiles,

The man hesitated for a moment before nodding his head. "Sure, why not?" Johnny said,

Harley led him to the bar and ordered two shots of whiskey. She downed her shot quickly, hoping to ease her nerves. She knew that she was taking a risk by talking to this man – he could be an undercover cop or informant – but she had to play her part.

As they drank, Harley kept up a steady stream of small talk. She asked Johnny about his job and his hobbies, trying to keep his attention on her and away from the other dealers. She could see them discreetly making their sales in the shadows of the club, and she felt a sense of relief that everything seemed to be going smoothly.

However, just as Harley was starting to relax, she noticed that the man had a strange glint in his eyes. He was staring at her intently as if he was trying to see through her,

"You're not like the other girls here, are you?" Johnny asked abruptly,

Harley felt a knot form in her stomach, Had her cover been blown? "What do you mean?" Harley asked, trying to keep her tone casual.

"I mean, you seem different. More intelligent. You're not just here to sell stuff, are you?" Johnny asked,

Harley's mind dashed as she tried to come up with a plausible explanation for why she was at the club. "No, I'm not," she said finally. "I'm here because...because I'm trying to find someone."

The man raised an eyebrow. "Who are you trying to find?"

Harley hesitated before blurting out the first name that came to mind. "My ex-boyfriend works here as a bouncer. I just wanted to see if he's okay" Harley explained,

Johnny seemed satisfied with her answer, and Harley breathed a small sigh of relief. "I see," he said, nodding thoughtfully. "Well, I hope you find him," Johnny said,

Harley finished the rest of her drink, feeling like she had narrowly escaped disaster. But as she turned to leave, the man grabbed her arm.

"Wait," Johnny said, his voice low, "One more thing. I know what you're here for, And I'm not going to stop you, But if you ever need anything...anything at all...you come to me, okay?" Johnny said, and he gave her his telephone number and some other description of where she can get him,

Harley looked at him in disbelief, wondering how he could know without a doubt what she was doing. "How do you know?" she whispered.

Johnny grinned, a flash of teeth in the dim light. "Let's just say I have my sources. And they tell me that you're not just a girl looking for her ex," he said,

Harley felt a shiver run down her spine as she pulled away from him. She knew that she should be grateful for the man's offer of help, but something about him made her feel uneasy. She hurried back to the safety of the shadows, hoping that she wouldn't have to encounter him again,

As the night wore on, Harley continued to keep a watchful eye on the crowd. There were a few more close calls – a man who flashed a badge and asked to speak to the manager, a woman who started asking too many questions about the drugs – but Harley managed to stay calm and distract them until they lost interest,

Finally, as the first light of dawn began to creep into the sky, the other dealers gathered around her, "okay, let's pack it up," Rosalie said,

Harley smiled weakly, feeling like the weight of the night was still pressing down on her. "Thanks," she said,

As she walked out of the club and into the chilly morning air, Harley couldn't help but wonder if there was a better way to make a living. She didn't want to spend the rest of her nights like this, looking over her shoulder and fearing for her life. But for now, she doesn't have a choice, she was one of the captives,

She glanced back at the club, hoping that she had left behind everything that had happened there. But as she walked away, she couldn't shake the feeling that danger was still lurking around every corner,

When Harley and the other girls arrive home, Rosalie was asking her, “Hey, baby girl, where did you work before joining us?“

“Well, this Is my first time In dealings like this, but I watch lots of detective and action films” Harley explained,

“Are you sure you are not a spy from the unknown group?“ Rosalie asked,

“I don't know what you are talking about Rosalie, please, I need to sleep a while,” Harley said,

Harley left Rosalie In the lounge and walked Into the room, and she laid down on the bed and slept off,

Meanwhile, the Investigation of Harley's kidnap and the killer of her parents were still going on,

Ricardo was on his throne with four girls around him caressing his body while he was smoking cigarettes,

Rosalie walked Into Ricardo's chamber, and she greeted him with respect, “good morning my king” Rosalie said,

Ricardo dispatch the girls around him with waves of his hands, and he turned to Rosalie,

“Rosalie, how did It goes, hope the new girl performs normally?“ Ricardo asked,

“Excellent my king, but I notice one thing In her” Rosalie, “Hope this girl Is not a setup?“ she asked,

“What did you notice?“ Ricardo asked,

“She seems she has been In this job before, though, she did a perfect job, but I'm scared,

“You don't need to be scared, I knew her father, he was my client, but It's a pity that he died In debt, anyway, I bought her from Mr, Anderson, and I don't think there is going to be a problem around here,” Ricardo said,

“Are you sure my king?“ Rosalie asked,
