Ariana and Aria

Arianna McCarthy and Aria McCarthy are identical twin sisters. They indeed are clones of each other except for their personalities.

They came from a medium-rich family, though their family riches can never go anywhere near the richest families in the country.

Their family had their own company and three different mansions.

Life has always been easy for their family and especially Aria. Whilst Arianna was the unfortunate one.

Despite being twins and having the same face, the same eye color, and even the same hair color, there's an absolute difference between their characters.

Aria is the kind of person who enjoys partying and changing boyfriends each and every day. She likes to spend extravagantly on anything fashion.

Her parents always support her regardless of whatever she will do.

But that was a different case for Arianna. She was always blamed for every bad thing that happens to their family.

Arianna had to face many injustices in and outside their house.

Many people had mistaken her for Aria and beat her several times for stealing their boyfriends away from them.

Arianna will come home and complain to their parents, but they will always shun and dismissed her.

Even in college, Arianna never gets peace from being the twin sister of Aria.

Just like what is happening now…

“Hey Aria, the boyfriend snatcher, why are not talking now? I remember you were a bitch yesterday at the club.” A student said to Arianna, which gained most of the student's attention in the cafeteria.

“I said that was not me. I'm Arianna and that was my twin sister Aria. Please allow me to go to my seat.” Arianna said softly and tried to walk away, but she was blocked by another female student.

“Not so fast Aria, you have played these tricks countless times using your sister as a cover. Are you not ashamed for always causing your sister trouble?” The girl hissed at Arianna, thinking that she was Aria.

Arianna didn't bulge because this was not the first time something like that was happening to her.

She has started to get used to it. But what infuriated her was, she saw her sister Aria walking to them with Arianna's lens.

Arianna instantly knew she was going to pretend to be her.

“Aria… why are these people bothering you? Did you do something bad again? Sis, I've told you to mend your ways and stop all these boyfriend snatches.

You can just have a boyfriend of your own instead of stealing from another girl's boyfriend. “ Aria pretentiously said and even sobbed as if she was really her sister Ariana.

Many of the students sympathize with her. Everyone started pointing at Arianna and gave her a disgusting look, thinking that she was indeed Aria.

Arianna's heart ached. Though she's used to her sister's lies and pretense, but for Aria to do this to her was more than painful.

Arianna felt the food in her hands was going to explode. She bit her lower lip as tears started flowing from her eyes due to anger.

That shocked most of the students though, because the Aria they knew is a bitch who will never cry.

When Aria saw what was going on, she immediately turned to those girls she had a fight with the day before at the club and bowed her head.

“I apologize for what my sister Aria did. Please forgive her. I promise I will talk to her when we get home. Though she likes to use me as her scapegoat always, but as her sister, I can't do anything more than to accept all your harsh words. Please forgive her.” Aria continued her pretense, Whilst Arianna felt like killing her.

“We will leave you this time because of your sister, try us next time, and we will make forget your bitchy life.” One of the girls pointed a finger at Arianna and warned her.

Arianna made a solid decision that moment, she knew she will be punished for what she was about to do when she gets home, but she still needs to prove herself for once.

She turned to glance at her sister Aria, who had a smirk on her face.

Arianna heaved a sigh before calling out… “ENOUGH!!” Her voice came out louder than she even expected.

All eyes turned in her direction. Aria Panicked and abruptly hugged Arianna. “ Don't do anything stupid, Ariana, or else you know what mom and Dad will do to you when we get home,”

Aria whispered in her ear, but to her surprise, and for once, Arianna pushed her really hard to the floor.

“ENOUGH OF YOUR LIES, ARIA!! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF LIVING TWO LIVES BECAUSE OF YOU!! SEVERAL TIMES, I'VE BEEN BEATEN UP BECAUSE THEY MISTAKE ME FOR YOU!!

YOU HAVE EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE. MOM AND DAD TREAT YOU LIKE A PRINCESS WHILST AM THE OUTCAST ONE, THOUGH WE BOTH CAME TO THIS WORLD THROUGH THEM.

I DON'T HAVE PEACE IN THE HOUSE AND WHEREVER I GO… CANT I JUST HAVE A SIMPLE AND NORMAL LIFE ON CAMPUS TOO??

WHAT WRONG DID I EVER DO TO YOU? WHY DO YOU ALWAYS WANT TO MAKE MY LIFE MISERABLE? WHAT WRONG DID I EVER DO TO YOU ARIA?”

Arianna shouted all her lungs out with her tears streaming down her cheeks. She was in so much pain remembering how their parent have outcast her for no reason.

Everyone was shocked by the revelation that just came out of her mouth. Do even her parents dislike her?

And then again, the girls Aria messed up with at the club the night before dashed toward her.

They made sure that none of Aria's body was left unscathed.

They really beat her up mercilessly. Not only that, but they were initially going to give her just a warning, but seeing how she lied and pretended to be her sister angered them even more. That only showed them how much of a bitch Aria was.

The securities came and stopped the fight before it could have generated into something worse.

Aria got up from the floor with her face swollen and her whole body bruised. She turned to Ariana and glared daggers at her before she spat furiously…

“You will regret this when you come home, Ariana, Mark my words.” After saying that, Aria didn't even bother to take her bag, she immediately went home making Ariana panic.

Ariana knew her sister was going to complain to their parents about what happened on school today.

And as far as she knows, her parents are going to make her regret it. She heaved a sigh and took her seat to have her lunch in silence.

She ignored all the curious and sympathetic gaze people were giving her. After all, she was a lone wolf on campus with no friends.

The day went by quickly and now Ariana has been standing at their house for more than an hour.

The fear of what will happen to her if she go inside threatened her to her inner bones. Yet, she mastered all her courage and went inside.

“SLAP!!!” Was the first thing that greeted her the moment she entered the house.

Ariana turned to the source of the slap and it was no other person but her mother.

“MOM.” Ariana cried out as she covered her burning cheek.

“Don't you dare call me mom, you useless child?” Mrs. McCarthy spat furiously.
