Riley’s POV

I woke up to a strange sensation on my body, something warm and slow that pulled me from sleep before my mind could catch up.

I was disoriented at first, caught between dreaming and waking, before my eyes flew open.

Michael was between my breasts, his lips wrapped around my left nipple, sucking gently while his hand worked the other one with lazy confidence.

His eyes were closed, like he was savoring the moment, as if this was exactly where he wanted to be.

I sucked in a sharp breath and let my head fall back against the pillow.

My body betrayed me immediately. Pregnancy had turned every nerve ending into a live wire, and the way he touched me made everything feel heightened.

I told myself to stay quiet, but the ache pooling low in my belly made that impossible.

Soon, soft moans slipped out of me without permission as he alternated between biting and sucking, his tongue teasing in a way that made my toes curl.

My hands fisted into the sheets, and I shut my eyes again, g

  • The Billionaire She Rejected.   Chapter 195: She Said Yes.

Riley’s POVI stood there, stiff, my mind struggling to catch up with what my eyes were seeing.Just moments ago, I had been clapping and squealing like a nosy bystander who stumbled into someone else’s perfect moment. It felt like the world had tilted, and I was standing right in the middle of it, unsure whether to laugh, cry, or just breathe.Slowly, one after the other, the people around us began to remove their masks. Familiar faces emerged, smiling so brightly that my chest tightened. Grandma stood there, hands clasped together, her eyes looking glossy. Aria was already crying openly, one hand over her mouth, the other pressed to her chest as if she might burst from happiness.Viktor stood a little behind them, calm as always, but the smile on his face told me everything his words did not.I turned back to Michael. He was still kneeling on one knee, the ocean breeze brushing against his hair, the open ring box steady in his hand. For a second, he looked nervous, not the compo

Riley’s PovWe finally left the hospital after all the necessary formalities were completed. When we stepped outside and got into the car, I felt like I could breathe a little easier. As we drove toward the company, my mind drifted back to the past few hectic days we spent at the hospital. Sleepless nights, constant monitoring, endless reminders, and one very stubborn man who refused to listen unless it suited him. I glanced at him from the passenger seat and sighed quietly. Even now, he looked far too composed for someone who had just been discharged. When we arrived at the company, we walked straight through the main entrance. It did not take long before people started noticing. Conversations faded, heads turned, and one by one, recognition dawned on their faces.“Mr. Gray.”“Welcome back.”“Good to see you again.”The greetings came from every direction, followed by soft cheers and relieved smiles. Some people even clapped lightly. Michael responded warmly, nodding, smiling, a

Riley’s PovWhen I later came back late at night from Grandma’s ward after having a long conversation with her, I noticed that Michael was already asleep. The room was dim and quiet. I paused by the door for a moment, watching the slow rise and fall of his chest. He looked so peaceful and for a second, the tight knot in my chest loosened.I walked into the restroom and did my night routine quietly, brushing my teeth and washing my face like I was afraid the sound of running water might wake him. When I was done, I slipped into my nightwear and returned to the room.I eased myself onto the bed and carefully slid under the covers, moving slowly so I would not disturb him. The mattress dipped slightly, but he did not stir. I adjusted myself into a more comfortable position and breathed out, finally allowing my body to relax. The moment I closed my eyes, a strong arm wrapped around me and pulled me back against a warm chest.I gasped softly. All this while, I thought he was already

Riley’s PovHe looked more calm when he came out from the restroom after spending so many minutes in there. His steps were still a bit slow, but his face looked more composed than before, like he had made some kind of decision in his head. When he came out, the doctor was already waiting to see him, standing near the foot of the bed with a tablet in his hand.“Hello doctor,” Michael flatly greeted him and slowly sat down on the bed."Hello Mr Gray."“Please call me Michael."The doctor nodded, and Michael went straight to the point. “I would like to be discharged.”I felt my heart skip at his words, and I immediately looked at the doctor.“Okay, I cannot stop you,” the doctor replied calmly, “but I strongly advise against this. You survived something that should have killed you, and two days is not enough. If you leave now, then you are gambling with your life.”Michael clenched his jaw slightly. “Then when would it be possible?”The doctor briefly glanced at me before returning his

  • The Billionaire She Rejected.   Chapter 191: Fragile Moments.

Riley’s PovI picked the call that interrupted my discussion with Zara, but before I could even say a word, the call ended.I stared at my phone for a second, confused. I tried calling back immediately, but the call went unanswered. But this number had just called me, so why was the person not picking up now.I sighed softly and placed the phone beside me, deciding not to dwell on it for now. I turned my attention back to Zara, who had already resumed talking like nothing happened. She went on about her friend who had just launched a new brand and was searching for a PR planner and strategist. She spoke with so much confidence about me that it made my chest warm. She said she was sure I would be perfect for the role and that I would deliver exceptionally well.I realized how much people believed in me now, and it felt reassuring in ways I did not know I needed.I gave her my work email and my number, asking her to pass it along so they could reach out for further discussions.
