Stan swallowed hard. Amil wants to meet his mother again? Looks like the bond between them was attracting him. But he doesn't want him to get accustomed to her.

He is yet to verify her character and personality. This is not something he could easily allow to exist between them.

He forced a smile and kissed Amil's temple. He doesn't want him to notice the trace of displeasure on his face over what he just requested. He'd never deny him a request, as long it is something within his power.

. “Will you take me to her?” Amil asked, glad his father smiled. It means he would grant him his request. He really wants to meet that aunt again.

“I'll see what I can do,Amil,” Stan responded. He dares not give him a pseudo assurance. How can he lie or deceive his own son?
