ログインMy eyes flew open .
The room was too bright . My head felt like it had been split in two and stitched back together with fire.
I groaned and rolled over, reaching for my phone .
10:00 a.m
My heart dropped .
"No... no no no".
I shot up so fast, the room spun. My stomach churned violently as panic flooded my chest.
Work
I was supposed to be at vilonia corp by 7 a.m .
My first day.
My hands shook as I scrambled out of bed, memories of the night before ,flooding in.
Broken flashes, loud music , a deep voice and his eyes , the only thing I remember clearly.
Who is he ?
Why can't I remember?
The door burst open.
" Anna ?". Rita rushed in , panick written all over her face. She probably just got up too.
" Oh my God thank goodness you're awake , I tried to wake you up but you where out cold.
I stared at her realizing, " why didn't my alarm go off"
She blinked once. Too slowly.
" Oh I didn't even hear it Anna. I was hungover myself." She said. Her tone almost too defensive.
My chest tightened.
" I'm late.... ". I whispered, "I'm late on my First Day . Heck can't even remember how I got home last night."
Rita held my shoulders, " I got a cab for us so yeah. I was so drunk to. But hey , just explain to them what happened. You where drunk remember? You probably.. pass out"
What the hell was she even saying.
I pushed pass her, already pulling on clothes with trembling fingers.
"They'll tag me irresponsible at the spot. I can't loose this job..." I said desperately. " My dad ..."
" I know" Rita cuts in softly." I know "
She gave me a knowing smile.

Author's POV
Of course Rita was jealous.
She shouldn't have woken up. She thought.
Rita stood at the doorway, watching Anna rush around the room, fear written all over her face , and felt nothing but bitterness.
Her phone lay on the kitchen counter.
Anna's alarms had gone off at 6:00 a.m. sharp.
Rita had stared at it for a long time ..... Then turned it off.
Deliberately.
Let her be late.
Let her mess up on her first day.
But Eden's voice cut through her thought like a blade.
" Try thus again" he said quietly that night.
Eyes dark and merciless.
"and I'll have your head as a Christmas present for Miss Anna "
Rita's finger curled .
He knew.
He knew the drink was spiked,
He knew Rita left her there on purpose .
And worse ----he brought her home himself.
Rita swallowed hard, forcing her face into concern .
This isn't over. she thought.
Not yet.

Eden stood by the window, staring outside ,
His hands clasp behind his back.
Ethan sat at his desk , phone in hand , jaw tight
" She's late," Ethan murmured . " I should have listened to you. Fuck __she could be a spy "
" Shh she's here", Eden said calmly, watching Anna run into the building .
Ethan got up abruptly . " I'll handle her myself."
" No." Eden said calmly. " I Will" he replied already walking out , heading to the employee floor.
He was angry __not at Anna.
At her friend .
Rita
The girl had promised she would wake her up on time.. she made her choice.
She lied.
I hate liars.

At 10:37am , the elevator dinged.
Anna stepped out.
Disheveled. Pale. Terrified.
Her eyes quickly met Eden's first.
He didn't look angry .
That scared her more.
Ethan exhaled sharply . " Let me handle her brother"
Eden shook his head once.
"No I Will"
" Anna Hale" Eden called , his voice firm, commanding.
" Our office now " Ethan added as both brother turned away. Everyone stared.
They could have just sent someone to call her. But no .
They can themselves .
Anna followed slowly. Ignoring the stares.
Files clutched tightly to her chest , fingers trembling as she tried to stop her heart from exploding.
She looked at the men ahead of her __ I identical in every way except their hair.
Ethan was blonde.
Eden was dark_ haired .
And somehow ..... Far more terrifying.
Anna’s POVThey say boys are players. Not men.!But the man who usually sat a few feet away from me…he was no man.I remembered the last time we were close.Probably two weeks ago.We kissed.I hadn’t been kissed since Asher—my ex—broke up with me five years ago.Heck, that was the last time I’d actually had sex.Five years ago. That was why my hormones shot up the moment I saw them making raw love right in front of me.After that night with him, he stopped talking to me.Completely.I didn’t understand why—or what I had done wrong.Heck, even Irene was mad at me because of curfew. We had a heated argument. Two weeks ago.He dropped me off at my apartment building. I was surprised he even knew where I lived.“How did you know?” I asked.“I… was the one who brought you home that night you were drunk. You really surprised me.”My heart skipped a beat. But Irene said she brought me home.“Thanks, but I’m certain my roommate brought me home,” I argued.“Let’s say she went home,” he repli
Anna's POV I scribbled down every word he said—well, at least the ones I could catch. He was too fast, and I struggled to keep up, my pen racing across the page.Soon, he left me with a pile of folders—notes to整理, documents to print, and misplaced paperwork to arrange.I got to work immediately, doing everything he asked. Still, I couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. From the other side of the spacious office—designed for the twins—I felt his gaze.I looked up and met it.Grey-blue eyes. Unwavering. He was on a phone call, a smirk tugging at his lips as he spoke.I couldn’t hear a word—he was too far away. But I was certain it was a girl.I looked away and forced myself to focus. No distractions.Eden’s POVI couldn’t help it.My eyes kept drifting to the woman seated several feet away from me, inside the glass-partitioned space. How the hell had I fired her that day?Yes, she was daring. And no—I hadn’t been able to help myself.I was on a nasty call with Jennie—my mother’s
Author’s POVThe confrontation didn’t last long.Anna answered every question carefully, choosing her words like fragile glass. She avoided mentioning Rita’s name, not because she was protecting her—but because something deep inside warned her not to.Eden noticed. He always noticed. What surprised him most wasn’t her lateness or her nervousness. It was the fact that she didn’t remember him.Not the club. Not his voice. Not that he was the one who carried her home. She barely looked at him.Her gaze stayed on Ethan—safe, warm, familiar. But every time her eyes accidentally met Eden’s, fear flickered across her face. Instinctive. Raw.And each glance did something to him.Something unfamiliar.Something he didn’t like.Anna handed her CV and documents to Ethan with trembling fingers.Ethan took them, scanning carefully.Birthplace.Parents.Schools.Then his brows furrowed.“You attended Eva Hills High?” he asked, disbelief lacing his voice.Anna nodded slowly. “Yes, sir.”Ethan looked

Anna’s Pov I found my way back to Rita’s place. She’d been my roommate since I moved back to the city. We were more like good friends—her dad was best friends with mine, after all.I collapsed onto the couch and released a long, exhausted sigh, replaying every second of the day in my head. Every moment. Every word.Rita walked in just then, an iced coffee in her hand.“Hey you… how did it go?” she asked, sounding excited. Her smile faded the moment she really looked at me.“Oh my God… you didn’t get it?”She dropped her coffee on the side table and sat beside me, pulling me into a warm hug.“Oh dear, it’s alright. I mean, I didn’t even get the job when I applied two months before your arrival, so why would they even want to employ you? You came from the farm and—gosh…” Her voice cracked as she sobbed.“Hey,” I said, breaking the hug, a wide grin spreading across my face as my hands rested on her shoulders. “I got the job, sweetie.”I did a small shoulder dance. Rita froze, starin
Chapter One: IdenticalVilonia Corp stood tall and unforgiving, glass walls reflecting a world Anna Hale had never belonged to.She was barely inside the building when raised voices pulled her attention.A man stood in front of a trembling female employee, his voice sharp, cutting, merciless.“Do you think mistakes are tolerated here?” he snapped. “Clean it. Now.”Coffee stained the desk. The girl’s hands shook.Anna didn’t think. She never did when she saw cruelty.“Is this how you treat your colleagues?” she said, stepping forward.“Yelling and humiliating someone over an accident?”The room froze. The man turned slowly. His black hair was perfectly styled, his eyes dark and dangerous.Eden Vilonia.“Do you know who you’re talking to?” he asked coldly.Anna ignored the question. She took the crying girl by the arm and led her outside.“It’s okay,” she whispered. “You didn’t deserve that.”When she returned, a woman grabbed her wrist in panic.“Are you insane?” she whispered. “That’s
