Chapter 18: Distance

“That's my wife!”

Margaux was talking seriously with Carlos, her assistant, when she heard the sudden commotion from the outside. Distracted, she looked at the spot where the noise was coming from and tilted her head.

“Margaux! Let me in!” the guy screamed.

It was so loud that it instantly made her bolted up and checked it.

“I will check it, Miss. Please take a seat..” said Carlos.

But she was naturally a curious person so she shook her head. “He is calling me so I'll check it,” she replied and strode to the entrance.

“Margaux!”

However, her steps abruptly halted upon seeing the person causing a commotion.

‘Hendrix?!’ her mind was blown away.

She hadn't recovered from that afternoon yet. She had to workout, tire herself and stopped having an idle time the whole night just to forget about it and avoid thinking about him. She was even called for a sudden meeting with her assistant that late night because she couldn't freaking sleep, and now she had to meet him again?! Was fate
