Chapter 19: Kiss

Margaux felt warm and soft things suddenly pressed against her lips. Startled, her eyes immediately opened only to be thunderstruck upon realizing that Hendrix just kissed her.

Her body became stiff, while her insides became a huge mess. She gasped but the moment her lips parted, Hendrix tongue quickly invaded her mouth.

‘This is my first kiss!’ her mind was screaming.

Her breathing became ragged while her heartbeat was unhinged. She shut her eyes again as she couldn't handle her overflowing emotion anymore.

Slowly, her hands were raising until it rested on his forearms. She was about to kiss back - although she didn't know how - when she heard someone call her name.

“Miss Margaux?”

It's as if Margaux was splashed by a whole bucket of ice, she quickly pushed Hendrix with all her strength and hastily ran away without looking back.
