Chapter 38- Late night visitor

Chloe's POV

I went to work early, just so I could go back home early and move to my apartment. I was just excited about Ethan coming to visit. It's been only two days but it felt like forever.

Things at work had been going great. Since I confronted my boss, he did well to stay away from me and not send me gifts anymore. At least I had one thing to be thankful for.

When I got to Bonnie's house, I met her packing my things already.

"So eager for me to leave, are you?" I joked. I knew that she was only trying to help me. She laughed, shaking her head.

"Yes. You eat a lot, and I cannot afford to feed the ex girlfriend of a billionaire."

"Ouch! That hurts." I placed my hand on my chest dramatically, making her roll her eyes at me.

By the time Bonnie and I finished packing, she drove us to my apartment.

"You are always free to come back to our house if you think you can't stay alone. Jeremy and I won't mind."
