~Jolene’s POV~

"Um- Hi- I am L- Jolene," I stuttered and almost said my screen name.

Fuck this man is making me lose my mind just with that one look.

He spared me a look and then went back to glaring at Harry.

"Care to explain why you were groping an intern in your office?" He asked Harry in a smooth velvety voice which made me shiver. His tone was calm but there was a hint of danger in it.

"It's not like that, Jasper. We've known each other for years now," Harry replied.

So his name is Jasper. Hmm.

"And you, we have a dress code at the office for women. You will have to follow it," he stated simply, even though it was a command.

"Guess we are not in the 21st century in this office yet," I muttered under my breath.

Jasper shot me a deadly look but remained quiet.

Harry pulled out a chair and motioned me to sit down.

Jasper and him took their seats opposite to me as Jasper unbuttoned his dark coat while sitting down.

"So what do you know about our company E-Secure?" Jasper the broody tyrant asked, his eyes assessing my every little move from sitting in the chair to taking deep long breaths because of nervousness.

"E-Secure was established in 2004 by Joe Colemen and later it was succeeded by his only son. In 2016 E-Secure went public and has been a multi-billion dollar establishment. It provides internet security to banks, startups and even the government," I rattled out all the information I could remember off G****e.

"Hmm, I can see in your resume that you can code, and you have taken an ethical hacking course in college. How long would it take for you to hack a normal person's email?" he asked inquisitively.

Technically a few seconds but I don't think I can admit it to him. So instead I coyly replied, "That would be illegal Sir. But hypothetically, if I had to, it would take me a few minutes," I said as a smirk trying to break through my lips.

"We will take a technical test as well to ensure the quality of your work," Harry added.

"Sure," I said and batted my lashes at him.

For some stupid reason I wanted to make Jasper jealous. Even though I am pretty sure it won't work.

I glanced at Jasper and found his eyes fixated on my cleavage.

Yes! Thank God I wore this dress. Two hours well spent!

I smirked a little as I turned my attention to Jasper and asked, "Do you have anything else for me sir?" I asked, making sure my voice dripped with sexual innuendo that I intended.

His eyes narrowed on me so I added, "I mean questions, Sir," I said with a little laugh, acting all sweet and pure, just how many men like it.

"Jolene, is it? Let me make something very clear, employee fraternization is totally banned in this company. If you think your dumb young ways to pursue a man of caliber like mine is going to work then you are mistaken,” he said in a composed voice as if he was reciting the weather forecast.

I, on the other hand, was gaping at him with my mouth wide open.

He wasn’t done though, “I have met thousands of opportunistic women like yourself, trying to Weasley your way into a wealthy man's life by wearing barely there clothes and talking like a virgin. Where in reality all of you are just gold digging–"

My eyes were beginning to fill with tears but I didn't let him finish his rant as I exploded in his face and yelled, "Listen up, you rich spoiled little brat, I don't give a fuck about this job. And I make more money than most of your employees already. If you think I will tolerate all the insults you're hurling at me just because you're a job provider, then, you can shove this job up your stoic ass,” I said in one breath and Harry looked at both of us with his eyes wide open. He looked like he could be anywhere else but here and frankly I don't blame him.

“Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth like your pathetic misogynistic self. Some of us actually work hard and if you think you can treat us like slaves because you sign the paychecks then you can kiss my ass goodbye,” I spat in his face with animosity. I know we are total strangers but I didn't expect him to be so rude and obnoxious. Fuck I wanted to hurt him! But before I could I decided to walk away before I was charged for assault.

I fisted my hand and hurried out the door. My tears finally falling free and my chest burning like I have run a thousand miles.

Fucking Jasper!

His beauty was only on the outside. Inside of him is just awful.

How fucking dare he belittle me?

Cazzo! Bastard! Mother fucking idiot!

I hurled a few more curses at him in my head, as I ran home and cried on my pillow.

This was bad fucking idea. But what the fuck am I supposed to do now?

  • The Billionaire's Camgirl   Chapter 28: Don’t Look Away

Jolene’s POVI lit the ring light with trembling fingers, the soft glow washing over my face like a lie I no longer knew how to tell. It used to be so easy. Routine, even. A flick of a switch, a swipe of gloss, a few playful winks at the camera. I used to love this part—the transformation from flesh and bone to fantasy. But tonight, everything felt off. The light was too sharp, the air too still, and my body... it wasn’t humming with adrenaline like it used to. It was bracing, frozen in something I didn’t want to name.My reflection stared back at me from the screen. Same bedroom. Same pose. Same lips glossed to perfection. The lingerie hugged my curves just right, black lace framing my body like art. I knew how to work it. I knew what angles they liked. But for the first time, none of it felt like power. It felt like exposure. Like I was standing on a stage I no longer controlled. And beneath the surface of the seduction and sass, something gnawed.Fear.The kind that lodged itself i

  • The Billionaire's Camgirl   Chapter 27. He’s Still Watching

Jolene’s POVThe soft clink of dishes and the smell of coffee pulled me from sleep the next morning. For a second, I forgot where I was. The couch under me, the blanket draped across my chest, and the sound of someone humming just beyond the kitchen wall—none of it felt like mine. But it was.It was Jasper. When I padded barefoot to the doorway, he was already dressed in a plain white tee and sweatpants, standing at the stove like he did this every morning. He looked too at home in a place that had only been his for three days.“You cook for all your neighbors, or just the emotionally unstable ones?” I asked, voice still heavy with sleep. He glanced over his shoulder. “Only the ones who fall asleep on my couch and steal all my body heat.”A smile tugged at my lips despite everything. “What is that? Eggs?”“Omelette,” he said. “Don’t get used to it. I burn toast on most days.”The morning unfolded slowly. We ate together at the breakfast bar, legs brushing. He made me coffee exactly th

  • The Billionaire's Camgirl   Chapter 26. Next Door Neighbor

Jolene’s POVI’d barely been in my new apartment for two hours when I heard the unmistakable sound of someone moving in next door. A steady thud of boxes, the grind of furniture legs on cheap tile, and a few low curses muttered under someone’s breath. I didn’t think much of it at first—until I stepped out onto the narrow balcony for some air and saw him.Jasper.He was standing in the hallway just outside the neighboring unit, arms full of books and a duffel slung over his shoulder. He looked just as surprised as I felt—like the universe had played one final, ridiculous card and we were both the punchline. Our eyes locked. My heart did a violent somersault.“Jolene?” His voice was low and hoarse, like he hadn’t used it all day. “What the hell...?”I blinked, gripping the railing. “You’re moving in next door?”He nodded slowly, setting down the box at his feet like it weighed far more than paper and cardboard. “Didn’t exactly have a choice. Got kicked out of the family estate.” He let

  • The Billionaire's Camgirl   Chapter 25. The Cost of Secrets

Jolene’s POVThe knock on my door wasn’t just a knock—it was a warning. Loud, sharp, relentless. It didn’t ask permission. It demanded answers. My heart jumped, recognizing the rhythm instantly. Craig. I opened the door and there he was, standing like a storm in the hallway—jaw clenched, shoulders squared, fists at his sides like he’d just come from a battlefield and I was his next opponent. But worse than all that was his stare. That fire in his eyes wasn't just anger. It was hurt. Disappointment, thick and unforgiving.“Jolene,” he said through gritted teeth, voice like gravel dragged across steel. “We need to talk. Now.”I stepped aside, silent, knowing better than to argue. He moved into the apartment like he owned the air in the room, like his rage had roots that had been waiting to claw out. The door clicked shut behind us, and suddenly I couldn’t breathe.“Why didn’t you tell me?” His voice was low but thunderous, the kind that didn’t need to be loud to shake the ground beneath

  • The Billionaire's Camgirl   Chapter 24. Guilty Conscience

Craig’s POVMy phone buzzed just after midnight, screen lighting up with a name I hadn’t seen in weeks. Claire. A name I used to associate with drinks, lap dances, and orgasms that helped me forget whatever the hell I was pissed about that day. But tonight? That name turned my stomach.Claire: We need to talk. Urgent. No emojis. No teasing. Just those three words. I stared at the message for a full thirty seconds, fingers twitching with something I didn’t want to call dread. Because if Claire was reaching out—about Jolene—then it meant something was already broken.I met her at the club she worked at, though calling that place a “club” was generous. The air was heavy with smoke and the kind of perfume that made your eyes water. Neon lights pulsed along the ceiling, casting pink and red shadows on curves that didn’t leave much to the imagination. Claire stood near the bar, her body wrapped in a black halter top and shorts so tight they should’ve come with a warning. She was in full per

  • The Billionaire's Camgirl   Chapter 23. False Accusations

Jasper’s POVI wasn’t expecting company. Especially not her. Holly moved like smoke and venom, slipping into my father’s study unannounced, uninvited, wearing perfume thick enough to choke and a smile that didn’t reach her eyes. I didn’t look up right away. I kept reading the contract in front of me, pen in hand, jaw locked. My patience was already thin, and the last thing I needed was one of my father’s pet projects testing my threshold for bullshit.“Jasper,” she said, voice all sugar and poison, leaning against the edge of the desk with the casual entitlement of someone who thought she had a place there. “You look tense. Maybe I could help you… relax.”I didn’t flinch. Didn’t glance up. “I’m fine.”She smiled at that—one of those slow, practiced smiles designed to disarm. Dangerous. Hollow. The kind of smile I’d seen destroy reputations and twist truth into fiction. “You don’t have to be so cold all the time,” she said, her voice dipping like this was some kind of game. “You used t
