Chapter 7. First Kiss

~Jolene’s POV~

I wore the classiest dress I could find in the store. It was a formal red gown from Chanel. Perfect for an office party. However, I don’t know what it is about my body that makes even the most modest of dresses look sultry.

I have to look decent because even though I received an invitation, like I am an outsider, I am still going to the party as an employee. I am not going in as Lana Luck the sex symbol but as Jolene the IT girl, so I’ve got to look formal.

When I arrived at the party I was shocked to see beautiful champagne fountains and all the men were in black. Whereas the ladies looked all colorful. It has been three days since I started this job but I am still waiting to catch a glimpse of my hot boss.
