Kate's POV

"I will always protect you, Kate. I know you don't want to fall in love but you just don't see it. You have me, I will love you until my last breath. You don't have to cry anymore. Just stay with me." Marc said while caressing my cheeks.

It was only when my eyes fluttered open that I realized I was in my room. Something felt heavy around my waist, and I looked down. It was an arm, I discovered when I peeked. Soft snoring could be heard in the distance. When I turned to look at my side, I saw Marc sleeping peacefully. When I remembered my dream, I broke out in a flush.
