"She had ab injury earlier in the office. Alright, I'll take her to our room. Excuse us, Nanny," he said, leaving his nanny with many questions in her mind.

"Your mansion is huge," I complimented.

"It's our mansion. You're now part of the family," he said, but his face was blank.

Somehow, I felt something strange upon hearing those words. I felt his sincerity of marrying me, despite of the conditions he told me.

"If Katherine haven't died, you probably have kids by now," I said, but his mood seemed to change.

I felt sorry upon mentioning about his past again.

He let out a deep sigh before talking. "Before she died, we broke up. She left me hanging with a lot of question in mind. That's what I can't accept," he said.

"Do you know the reason why she broke up?"

He just shook his head and took a frame from the cabinet. "This is my beloved Katherine Navarro."

I almost dropped the frame as I saw the picture. Not because I'm scared, but because we actually looked like carbon copies. I faced the mirror and touched my face, then looked back at the picture.
