Savanna’s POV.

“What’s she trying to do?”

“Trying to hit me?”

“You can’t try that with me.” I heard Aurora’s tiny voice.

“She hit her head on the wall.” Kael's voice rang in my head.

“And so?”

“She should just die,”Aurora said coldly.

“What has her presence in life done for me.”

“She’s just a fool that doesn’t allow me to enjoy my man in peace.”

“H-el.” I said slowly with a very low voice. I felt blood gushing out of my head, I couldn’t stand up from where I was.

“H-elp.” I whispered.

But no help was rendered for hours, suddenly I felt them dragging my body on the floor.

My body landed inside a river, and I felt like I was sinking. Suddenly, their voices faded . My world went dark again.

———————————

The garden felt ethereal, the wind blowing gently, as I walked through the garden with a white flowing garment. Everywhere around me felt cold as I was walking.

“Savannah! Savannah!!” I heard a voice echoing from behind.

I turned my back to look at where the voice was coming from , to my surprise I saw a woman dressed in a white flowing gown as well, her face was white and at the same time angelic walking towards me.

“My companion.” She said with her voice echoing.

“Where am I?” I inquired as my body reacted to her presence besides me. goosebumps spiraled in my body.

“And who are you?”

“You’re in the land of death.” She said,

“I’m your companion on earth.”

As she mentioned those statements , my mind raced.

I have died?

No! This won’t be the end of me.

“No!! I want to go back to where I came from!”

“I must avenge everything they did to me.” I yelled.

”What I want too.” The woman said.

“I don’t want us to suffer in vain.” She added.

“We must fulfil our destiny.”

“What is the next thing to do?” I inquired with a worried and concerned look. My brow furrowed.

No reply.

“What can I do?” I inquired again.

I’m not ready to die now.

After a long silence stretched between us, she stretched out her hand and uttered some statements on her palm but I couldn’t hear anything she said.

“Your chances of going back are very low.” She finally said.

“What?” I quickly said, my heart raced, tears filling my eyes , but not dropping yet.

“Yes!” She responded affirmatively.

The tears I have been holding for long finally rolled down my cheeks as I heard her final words echoing and landing on me like a punch bag.

“You will go back , if you could find a dying body that you would reincarnate into, in the next 20 minutes.”

Dead body?

How?

“But how will I find a dying body?” I inquired.

“Not only that. You are going back to earth for your revenge and to fulfill your destiny,”

“Just in 120 days.” She added.

“120 days?” I asked again, trying to confirm if I heard the last statement well.

“Yes.” She said looking straight into my eyes.

She turned her back to me and stretched out her hands and said something that I couldn’t hear into her palm.

————————-

The machine sound beeping around me jolted me awake. I’m awake. I looked around the vicinity and the smell of antiseptic and the constant beeping of the life-machines revealed to me that I was in the hospital.

I touched my face, but it sculptural factors differs from my real face and I felt a bandage wrapped around my head.

Suddenly, the door opened and a man in his early thirty in a white gown strode in. I quickly closed my eyes.

He placed his stethoscope on my chest, to examine only God knows.

“She made it.” I heard him say that. “Thank GOD,”he added.

He turned his back and after a moment he came in with three people I don’t recognize at all. One male, probably in his late seventies, and two females in their fifties too. Their presence commanded attention. From their presence, I could feel they were not ordinary people but rich. They rushed towards me holding my hands and checking my body rhythmically.

“Gabriella, my daughter.” The old man said with a joyous voice.

“Gabriella.”

“Sugar.” Their voices calling me echoed in my head.

But what’s going on?

I’m Savanna, not Gabriella. And also who are these people? I have never seen them in my life.

Suddenly, the dream I had and the woman’s voice rang in my head. “You will go back , if you could find a dying body that you would reincarnate into, in the next 20 minutes.”

I looked down at my hands, slender, fairer than mine ever have been . My body…. this body.… it wasn’t mine.

I reincarnated.

Does that mean I found a dying body?

And this Gabriella… she must’ve been the dying girl.

“My daughter, the operation was successful.” The old man said.

“Erm- erm.” I stuttered.

“No ooo.” One of the women suddenly cut in.

“Don’t talk yet.” The other woman interrupted gently, “Rest, okay?”

The way they reacted and talked to me revealed that I was in a loving and caring environment, which was extremely different from the life I lived before.

But I heard them talking about operation, which operation?

What had happened to Gabriella before I arrived?

“Let me call her husband to inform him.” The man’s voice sounded again.

So, Gabriella has a husband? Will this life be easy for me to navigate? How will I cope? I have no memory of her? Just my past life experiences lingered in my brain.

“Don’t call that stupid nonchalant man.” One of the women said.

“Yes, that’s true.” The other woman backed in.

“His wife was between life and death for a good 3 months.”

“Her so-called husband came to the hospital twice!” The other woman added, venom in her voice as she talked.

With everything I heard just now, I could say the relationship between Gabriella and her husband was not exciting.

Suddenly, the door of the ward flung open and a nurse came in carrying a tray , and inside the tray were a syringe, injections and drugs.

“It’s time for her medications.” The nurse said as she came towards me on the bed that Gabriella or let me say savanna was lying.

As I heard medications, everything around me went numb, because the last time I checked, I really detest anything: syringe, drugs, hospital or let me say being sick.

As she inserted the syringe on my body , an agony of pain came out of my mouth.

”Ouch ouch.”

“So painful, I hate it.” I muttered.

I could feel that all of them got shocked as they heard those words coming out of my mouth.

“Gabriella, you love injections.” The man said with a concerned and worried tone.

I raised my eyebrows in shock, processing the statement that I just heard.

“She’s still recovering from the pains.” One of the women suddenly said . Sending relief to my body.

Suddenly, the door to the ward flung open, and a man strode in with two huge men behind him who were probably his bodyguards. I quickly closed my eyes as I saw them.

Those people with me before suddenly stood up as they saw him coming in towards us.

“Go-od afte-rnoon my son-in-law.” The man I could proudly say he was my new father said with a trembling voice.

Silence.

Instead , he moved towards me and placed his palm on me.

“Get yourself out of this hospital quickly,”

“Your children are waiting for you.” He said with a cold voice, not giving a damn fuck about my condition.

As I heard those venomous words , I opened my eyes to see a familiar handsome man, with well trimmed beards and piercing green eyes looking straight into my eyes.

Mr. Anderson!

The richest man in the city. He was Gabriella's husband who didn't care about her health.

Anderson’s POV“How could you do this?”My mother’s voice cracked through the silence like a whip. sharp and furious. I flinched, not from guilt, but from shock. I didn’t see this coming. I had covered my tracks. I’d erased the footage. I’d wiped it all clean. No one, not even my P.A., who happened to be my closest friend, knew I was the one who pushed Gabriella. So how the hell did my father get that video?“You see that?” my father’s voice followed, calm but poisonous. “He can’t even defend himself.”His stare was like ice, piercing through me as if I were nothing more than a stain he couldn’t scrub off his legacy.“You nearly killed that girl, Anderson.”The word killed echoed in my head, dark and heavy. I wanted to speak, wanted to explain, to lie, to twist the story into something less… monstrous, but the words refused to form. The pressure in the room was suffocating.“What made you do that?” my mother asked. Her voice was quieter now, laced with confusion, concern, and just a h

  • The Billionaire’s Dead Wife    Let the show begins!

Savanna/Gabriella’s POVAs he left the ward, my eyes lingered on the door, my mind lost in a haze. The president’s son and billionaire was my new husband and was as cold as he was distant. Rude, even. This was the man I was now bound to? Not a shred of sympathy, not even the faintest glance in my direction. I tried to focus, tried to force my mind to clear through the fog of confusion, but his words, his coldness, kept repeating in my head. How could this be my life now?“Who told him she’s awake?” Gabriella’s father’s voice broke through the silence, sharp and annoyed, pulling me back to the present.“Who knows?” Gabriella’s mother’s voice followed, quieter, more controlled, but with an edge of concern that lingered in the air.He slipped his hand into his pocket, pulling out his phone. His fingers were steady as he dialed a number, his voice low, filled with authority. “His father needs to hear about this.”“Does it really matter now?” A woman’s voice, one of the others in the room

  • The Billionaire’s Dead Wife    The Power Struggles

Anderson’s POVAs I placed my hands on her body to feel her temperature, she opened her eyes, and those eyes met mine. But instead of her rare, red, piercing eyes, always staring at me when tying my tie, I saw green eyes staring straight at me.Confused. I blinked. Maybe the hospital lighting was playing tricks on me.“You heard what I just said, right?”“Your children are waiting for you at home,” I said coldly.Marrying Gabriella was one of my biggest regrets in life. I was just forced into the responsibility of being a husband, a duty I was never ready for with someone I don’t love. And now, she’s even moving weirdly.“My in-law,” her father said again. His voice alone irritates me. I detest standing with an irresponsible father-in-law who only thinks about money , status and power, he doesn’t care about the welfare of his children.I bet they don’t even know I pushed her off the staircase. And even if he does, he won’t say or do anything about it.“Money worshipper,” I muttered

  • The Billionaire’s Dead Wife    Beginning of the end

Savanna’s POV. “I think this is dirty,” I said as I held Aurora, my best friend's pink dress, and sniffed it. Her Chanel perfume hit me back. I couldn’t even describe if it was dirty or not. I stood in front of Aurora’s pink dressing mirror inside her pink room, sorting out her dirty clothes for laundry. Everything including Aurora’s pillow were pink, since pink was her favourite and only color that she admired. My long hair cascaded down my shoulder, and my blue eyes met my reflection in the mirror. I know Aurora wouldn't like it if she entered and saw me trying to wash her clothes, but the truth was that she deserved every good thing I was doing to her now. Washing her clothes is nothing compared to everything she has done for me. Should I talk about her accommodating me when I have nowhere to go? Even though her parents were against this, she made sure I felt free in her parents house without any disturbance. “Savanna.” I heard Aurora’s tiny voice calling me as she strode ins
