By the time Thea finally decided they had tried on enough clothes, it was already noon. Katherine let out a weary sigh, her muscles aching from standing in front of the mirrors for hours. The relief of slipping back into her own clothes was instant, as if she had regained a piece of herself after the overwhelming display of luxury.

But as she stepped out of the changing stall, her eyes landed on the impressive stack of purchases Thea had accumulated.

Twenty-eight outfits. Expensive ones, all meticulously selected and paid for with Zayn’s card.

Katherine didn’t even try to count the jewelry—diamond-studded earrings, delicate gold bracelets, silver necklaces with intricate designs. The sheer excess of it made her chest tighten.

“This is way too much,” Katherine muttered, her voice tinged with disbelief as she turned to Thea. “I can’t possibly need all this.”

Thea barely spared her a glance as she typed away on her phone. “That’s not your call.”

WARNING: MENTIONS OF SUICIDE.⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•Caroline leaned forward slightly, her fingers absently tracing patterns against the rim of her cup, eyes shining with intrigue as she continued unfolding the tangled history Katherine never knew. “It started years before either of them were born,” Caroline explained, voice soft but deliberate, as though revealing some ancient secret. “Frederick—Zayn’s father—was in love with Brianna, Castiel’s mother. She was his college sweetheart, the one person he actually wanted to be with.” Katherine remained still, listening, absorbing each word as the weight of Caroline’s confession settled deeper into her mind. “But their families had other plans,” Caroline continued, exhaling as though sympathizing with the past. “Frederick was expected to marry Audrey—Zayn’s mother. It was arranged, something their parents orchestrated for business, for alliances, for stability. Not love.” The words carried a bitterness Katherine recognized, an echo of som

  • The Billionaire's Ex-Wife Wants Revenge    Of Love, Betrayal And Bloodties

⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•Katherine sat still, her gaze locked on Caroline, watching the tear tracks staining her perfectly made-up face. The apology hung between them, weighty and unfamiliar, shifting the atmosphere in the café into something uncertain. She wasn’t sure if Caroline meant it—if any of it was real, if this sudden show of vulnerability was genuine or just another carefully crafted performance. But still… Caroline had said the words. And that, in itself, was something. Katherine exhaled softly, fingers reaching for the napkin beside her coffee. She pulled one free, folding it slightly before sliding it across the table to Caroline. Caroline took it without hesitation, pressing the soft fabric against her damp cheeks, wiping away the remnants of her breakdown. “I don’t know if I can forgive you,” Katherine admitted, her voice calm, measured. “But apologizing… it’s a step forward.” Caroline sniffed, nodding slightly, clutching the napkin as though it was holding her toge

⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•Katherine kept her gaze steady, fingers wrapped loosely around her coffee cup, as Caroline leaned forward slightly, exhaling as though preparing for something weighty. The café around them continued on, untouched by the thick tension that lingered between the two sisters. Conversations hummed softly, the scent of roasted beans wrapping around them, the occasional clink of ceramic against polished wood punctuating the air. But in this moment, there was only Caroline. And her carefully crafted words. “I know I’ve done awful things, Kathy,” she said, voice lower now, softer, tinged with something fragile—something performative. Katherine said nothing. Caroline inhaled, her fingers curling around her coffee, gripping it just tight enough to make her appear uneasy—as if struggling with this confession. “I don’t expect you to believe me,” she continued, shaking her head slightly, gaze dropping momentarily before refocusing on Katherine. “But I need you to hear m

⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•Henry's Café had remained unchanged over the years. The same warm scent of freshly brewed coffee greeted Katherine as she stepped inside, the air thick with nostalgia and quiet conversation. The wooden beams along the ceiling still bore the marks of time, the vintage posters along the walls softly faded. It was one of the few places in Willow Haven that had resisted the ever-growing wave of modern renovations, refusing to be swallowed by sleek designs and impersonal interiors. It was familiar. And yet, as Katherine scanned the room, nothing felt familiar about what she was about to do. Her fingers adjusted the sleeve of her casual yet well-chosen outfit-a baby blue sweater over dark jeans, paired with simple flats. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail, a deliberate decision to keep herself composed, to look like she had everything together even if she didn't feel it. She let out a slow breath before her gaze landed on Caroline. Sitting by the window, sc

⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•Katherine stared at the message for a moment longer, her fingers hovering over the keyboard, uncertainty still lingering. She had spent years ignoring Caroline—blocking her out, pretending that the wounds left by her twin sister had healed over. But now, here she was, agreeing to meet her. Why?Maybe curiosity. Maybe a need to confront what had always been left unsaid. Or maybe—just maybe—a part of her wanted to hear what Caroline had to say, even if she wasn’t sure she’d believe it. She exhaled, fingers finally moving, typing out the response in quick, precise strokes. "See you at 11." She hit send. The message disappeared into the void, and just like that, the meeting was set. Katherine placed her phone down with more force than necessary, her appetite suddenly gone despite the delicious meal she had just finished. No matter how much she tried to convince herself otherwise, today wasn’t going to be simple. And somehow—she already knew that whatever

  • The Billionaire's Ex-Wife Wants Revenge    The Morning After

⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•The morning light filtered softly through the penthouse windows, casting golden streaks across the polished floors. Katherine stirred, stretching slightly before blinking awake, her senses gradually adjusting to the unfamiliar surroundings. Zayn’s bedroom. She turned, instinctively reaching toward the other side of the bed—but it was empty. A dull ache of disappointment flickered through her before she caught sight of the neatly folded note on the dresser. She reached for it, unfolding the crisp paper. "Had an early meeting. Didn't want to wake you. You can stay as long as you'd like—Z."Katherine exhaled, shaking her head with a small smile. Last night was… a lot to say the least. Her cheeks warmed at the memory, at the way his lips had felt against hers, the way his hands had gripped her so possessively, his gaze so tender as she rode him to her orgasm and to unconsciousness–She forced herself to focus, pulling on a robe and stepping into the bathroom to fr
