“Sorry Daddy, Sorry Kara but Annie was happy to see me. Right, Sissy?” He turned his attention to Annie, who nodded, smiling.

Kara jokingly rolled her eyes, approaching the duo on the bed. “It’s so hard to be mad at you when your intentions are so pure. I love you.” She kissed Calvin on the forehead before doing the same to Annie.

“You slept well?” Katherine asked her daughter who nodded immediately. She had never slept on a bed this comfy. “Good morning.”

“Morning love.” Kara smiled, caressing her cheek.

“You don’t want to be late for school. Do you?” Adam said to Calvin, approaching them on the bed.

“Do I have to go?” Calvin mumbled, not wanting to leave his elder sister..

“Yes, buddy. Tomorrow’s your free day. Annie will be well-rested and you will be able to play with her all day.”

“Time to have your breakfast so I can drop you off.”

“Okay, Daddy.”

“Good morning.” Annie smiled at Adam when he came by the bedside.

“Morning love.” He kissed the side of her forehead.

“Bye.

I cried a lot when the family get reunited and how siblings welcome on each other's arm although they are strangers to each other. " lukso Ng dugo" hard to deny...️...️

I didn't think I would love this book but I did. love all the chapters I had read so far. Go Adam family or not, Kara, u and ur kids need to be happy. u have all suffer enough time for pay back. Team Adam/ Kara.

If i was in Adam shoes, I would be the same, not wanting to do anything with his so called "family", o hate that parents use their children as a pawns to close business and Kara's family doesn't fall behind Adam's, excusing their horrible acts they did to her daughter in the name of God!
