Ethan’s pov
The elevator felt like it took forever. My heart was already beating fast when the doors opened to shiny marble floors, a hallway with strange arts, and a heavy silence. I almost went back. Almost. But the text was clear: Come to the top floor and be on time. So, I stepped out, my cheap shoes making little clicks, and my hands sweaty. I had never been in a building like this, especially not Alexander Veyron’s penthouse. Everyone whispered his name with fear and desire because he was a billionaire with lots of power and scandal. The last door opened, and I froze. Huge windows showed a city skyline with gold colors. The city looked endless, with lights like stars but the man in front of the view was what had my attention. Alexander didn’t turn at first, he stood still like a statue, with his hands behind his back. His suit looked good on his wide shoulders. Just seeing his back made me feel out of breathe. He seemed controlled and dangerous. He finally turned, and his eyes locked on me. My breath caught……..The man was even more gorgeous in person. “You’re late.” His voice was smooth but hard, a tone that meant no arguments. I swallowed. “Security downstairs…” “I don’t like excuses.” He looked me up and down like I was something he was buying and smirked. “You came, that’s what matters.” I felt my face getting hot with the way he was looking at me. “I almost didn’t.” He stepped closer to me. He smelled so good, like expensive cologne mixed with smoke, and something sinful. His hand went to my face, his fingers glazing my jaw. It shouldn’t have made my knees weak, but it did. “You were always going to come,” his voice was barely a whisper, his thumb rubbed on my lip. “The question is… how many times tonight?” I gasped, goose bumps appeared on my arm. My body almost leaned towards him, wanting his touch, even though my mind was screaming danger. “I don’t mess around,” I said. His smile got sharper. “I don’t either. I like… being in charge.” His words made me shake. My heart beat fast as his hand moved from my jaw to my throat, not squeezing, but there to remind me he had the power. “Tell me to stop,” he whispered. “And you can leave right now, but if you stay…” He squeezed my throat, showing he was in charge. “ then you belong to me tonight.” My throat went dry. I should go, I really should but when he pulled on my tie, taking it off fast, the sound of silk made me excited. “I shouldn’t be here,” I whispered. “You’re exactly where you should be.” His mouth was suddenly on mine, his mouth hot and rough. He bit my lip and forced my mouth open. I was breathing hard, feeling hot and dominated. This wasn’t a kiss, it was a takeover. My back hit the cold window, the city behind us didn’t matter compared to what my body was feeling. He pushed his leg between mine, and I moaned without meaning to. “Good,” he said against my mouth, his hand moving down my chest, unbuttoning my shirt easily. “I like that sound, do it again”. I didn’t. He pinched my nipple hard, and I moaned anyway. “There it is,” he sounded happy. His hands went lower, pulling at my belt and opening it fast. My pants dropped, and the cool air felt good on my hot skin. I shook, feeling both ashamed and aroused, scared and shaking with need. “You’re shaking,” he said softly, his eyes dark with arousal. “Are you scared of me?” “Yes.” He grinned wickedly. “Good, fear makes desire stronger.” He pushed me down until I was on my knees on the glass floor, looking up at him. He looked like a god in his suit, standing over the city. He grabbed my hair, holding me still. “Look at you,” he whispered. “So perfect.” I got harder against my underwear and I moved, showing my impatience. He smiled. “Beg.” I almost said no because I was proud but I felt so hot, and my body ached begging for release. “Please,” the word trembled out of me. “Please what?” He pulled harder on my hair. “Please… use me.” His eyes glowed, he opened his belt with one hand, unzipping slowly. I gasped as he got himself out, big and hard, close to my mouth. “You’ll take all of me. You’ll choke on me and when you can’t breathe, you’ll remember that pleasure belongs to me not you.” I opened my lips more, anticipating, my body completely out of my control. He pushed forward, and I gagged as he filled my mouth, stretching my throat. He held my hair, controlling how fast it happened. My nails dug into the window to keep me steady, my eyes watering, and I felt hot waves of shame and strong arousal. “That’s it,” he moaned, his voice rough, his head thrown back as he fucked my mouth harder and harder. “Take me, take it all.” My body was on fire, my dick was leaking and my mind was gone. Every push was a command, every gag was a reminder that I had given up. When he pulled me off, my lips were swollen, and my chin was wet. I gasped for air, shaking and ruined. He bent down, lifting my face with two fingers. “You look like you’re already giving in,” he whispered, brushing my lips with his. “And I’ve barely started.” My heart pounded. I knew I should run but when he kissed me again, his mouth hungry and rough, I kissed him back. This wasn’t a game, It was a deal made with sweat, control, and desire. And me? I had already signed it with my body.Ethan’s povFor a moment, the noise of the restaurant faded. The lights above us blurred and I could feel bile rising up to my throat. I tried to say something but I couldn’t form a single word past my lips. I must still be asleep and this is a dream. That’s the only explanation for what I just heard.“What did you just say?”My father didn’t even blink, he just reached over and folded his napkin with lazy precision. “You heard me.”A cold flush crawled down my spine. “You used me?”He tapped his fork against the plate,“I needed access and you were convenient.”The room dimmed around the edges. God please no. Tell me I didn’t let him in again only for him to abandon us when we needed him again.“So all this was a lie? Lena was in the hospital fighting for her life and you were just using her to get access?” “That girl has been fighting since she was five.” His tone held no pity. “Time runs out for some people. That's the reality son.”A wave of nausea rolled over me. “You promise
Ethan’s pov“Dad, Lena has gone worse.”The words came out before I even sat down. I didn’t wait for greetings or menus. I stood beside the table while my father and Claudia kissed across their wine glasses like they were in some soap opera. They didn’t look up.Claudia giggled against his mouth as her hand slid over his chest, then lower, brushing his thigh. They kept whispering to each other, laughing and touching, ignoring me like I wasn’t standing in front of them. I had seen them act like this before but never with this much fever. “Dad. She is in intensive care.” My voice cracked a bit.Still no answer. Just more whispering as Claudia pressed her lips to his ear. He laughed……..my father actually laughed a loud boyish sound I hadn’t heard from him since I was a child. Something about his mood unsettled me. He wasn’t like this. The man I grew up with, the man I had seen a few weeks ago was cold and never openly joyful. This version looked like someone who won a lottery or someth
Ethan’s povI sat at the long dining table with the plates set perfectly as if this place hosted kings every night. The scent of roasted garlic hung in the air and the table held a full spread of steamed vegetables, a soft steak cooked medium, creamy mashed potatoes, warm bread, and a dark sauce that smelled rich. But the food held no interest to me as I picked at the steak in front of me. My mind kept circling around what happened earlier.Alex sat across from me, finally back.He is still dressed in his suit from the day, his jacket tossed on the back of the chair and his sleeves rolled to his elbows. His phone was pressed to his ear while he cut through his steak with slow precision. He spoke in that calm measured tone that makes one just want to listen and agree with whatever he says. He ended the call and placed the phone beside his plate as his eyes locked on mine.“Alright, what’s the problem?.”Direct and straight to the point. The man wastes no time. I pushed a piece of my
Ethan’s povMicheal looked polished and calm, yet there was a guilty flicker behind his eyes. My jealousy rose quick. He was here for Alex like last time. He was still around him, that alone made me mad.“Is Alex back?” I tried looking past him. He sidestepped and shut the door, blocking it with his body.“No, not yet. I waited. Thought he would return but the night stretched too long.”“I did not hear you come in.”He gave a quiet laugh. “Do you always keep track of every sound in this house? You walk in and out of his space as if you live here permanently even though you have only known Alexander for a few months, yet you question me?”His words stung because they held truth. My heart beat louder and my mind kept circling that door he blocked. Something about it felt off.“Why didn’t you wait for him in the sitting room?”“I was supposed to collect a document from him. I thought it might be here.”I studied him a bit, “Alex does not leave documents lying around. He is not careless
Ethan’s povI'm in love with a cold blooded murderer. That’s what has been going through my head since this week. I kept seeing the words in the file, the sealed reports, all the tragedies Alex allegedly had a hand in. The betrayal by William Stallin had cost Alex’s father the company leading to his suicide. I know Alex well enough to believe he isn't one to just let that type of thing go. That's one of the reasons I believe he might have been behind the tragedies…… . My father had warned me. He had told me Alex wasn’t a man anyone should trust, that behind his quiet power lays destruction. I chose to turn away from that warning. Maybe I did it because I wanted so badly to believe that the darkness in Alex was not real. Maybe I did it because I needed him to be the one good thing I found for myself. Maybe I did it because loving him was easier than admitting I was walking willingly toward a fire.If he could do all that to someone for one betrayal to his father, what then will he do
Alex’s pov“Are you here to gloat?”This new confidence of his was really starting to get on my nerves…..badly.“Of course not Alex. I just thought we should talk before the circus begins.”I gestured toward the chair opposite me. “Talk then.”He sat down slowly, crossing one leg over the other. “You look tired. Long nights? Or maybe you’re running out of allies.”“Choose your words carefully,” I scowled at him. “You’re still on my board, for now.”He smiled. “I’m aware. That’s why I came. To make sure you know I’m not your enemy, not yet.”“Your last move says otherwise.”“That was just business, you would have done the same if you were in my position.”I leaned back in my chair looking at him. He was right, this was exactly the type of thing I excel in….hostile takeovers. Under different circumstances I would have felt a bit of admiration for the man“I have a proposal for you. One that might interest you.” He says smiling.I didn’t reply. I just stared at him and he took the silenc
