CHAPTER 18 - No. 19 Cross Avenue

Alex starts the car and moves. Loretta was so glad she was finally taking Lauren home. She needed a long bath; she'd just sit there and probably dose off. But unluckily, Lauren only had a showerhead so it was going to have to be a quick one.

She brought her phone out of her purse and checked the time, it was almost four. She sighed and leaned back, still holding muttering Lauren. What was she going to do with Alex, she couldn't just tell him after he's dropped them, to go home this late?

She was going to have to tell him to sleep over, till it was bright enough to go back home. If he doesn't want that, she's going to have to seriously convince him to a sleepover. It was just a few hours, it wouldn't hurt.

"Hey Alex, thank you for not laughing when I told you I couldn't drive. I don't tell much people; it is a little embarrassing".
