CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

MIA'S POV

About an hour later after Aiden left, I got a call through the house phone that Mr Timothy was involved in a hit and run accident. I was literally shaking with fear because of the bad news. I called Aiden and Audrey and filled them in on this.

"Hello Audrey? I- I- got a call just now that Mr Timothy was involved in an accident and he has been rushed to the hospital." I said,my voice trembling.

"What? Calm down Mia...Which hospital was he taken to ?

I gave her the name of the hospital and I did the same with Aiden .

"Can I go visit him at the hospital, Aiden?"

"No! Please Mia. Just stay home. I just called the hospital. I don't want you going anywhere to do things that could upset you."

"Okay." I knew for a fact that he wouldn't let me out of the house without him. I was just asking wishfully.

I was able to put dinner together for the whole house while I got some of the staff to assist. I know I wasn't supposed to do any strenuous activity but I wanted to keep myself bus
