C54 - Proof.

"Miguel, I'm sorry. I wasn't able to come at once," Meredith approached Miguel and hugged him.

Miguel gently patted her back in response. The woman let go and smiled at Lara.

"Hi, Lara… I hope you don't mind. I'm here for Grandma," she said to her in the softest tone, then she hesitantly approached her and gently hugged her.

She shouldn't have done that. They weren't close, and the last time they met, she walked out.

But Lara didn't utter a word. She forced a small smile.

Despite the woman's sweet words, Lara thought she heard otherwise.

"You didn't have to bother," Miguel told her before gently placing an arm around Lara's waist.

"How could I not come? Grandma is also like family to me," she said, seemingly responding to what Miguel said, but Lara noticed her eyes following her husband's hand on her waist.

"Migo, look at what Meredith brought for me," Cordelia interjected with a smile, pointing to the abundance of fruits beside her. "It's as if she wants me to open a fruit stand."
