BRITTANY’S POV

I waited in the bedroom as Hayden is with his mom. I know they are talking about me and I badly want to know what it is.

I sat on the bed and try to think about other things to get my mind off it but it sadly isn’t working.

I decided to log into social media and hopefully, funny updates would make me forget about Hayden’s mom and everything.

Immediately I put on my data, Brenda message came in.

Brenda- Hi Baby.

Me- hello.

Brenda- so are you going to the party?

Me- what party?

Brenda- where have you been living, the grave?

Me- maybe.

Brenda- ha ha. Check the school’s group chat. That’s what the students are talking about.

Me- the group chat’s messages are too much. Don’t know where to start from. Just tell me.

Brenda- Fine! Nick, the hot dude in creative art department is hosting a party at his house this Friday.

The entry is simple, come with the opposite gender.

Me- so you must go with a guy?

Brenda- exactly. So are you coming?
