"Is this okay?" I inquired, having just tasted the kare-kare dish I prepared.

With a smile of satisfaction, I patted my own shoulder and praised myself, "Very good, Kassandra! This isn't just skill anymore, it's pure talent! How did I manage to make this dish so delicious on my first attempt?"

I was relieved that I didn't end up taking too long to cook for Karious and me. Although I already plan to make use of morning for this preparation and just go to work after my lunch date with Karious.

I packed the remaining food in Tupperware and then took a shower to freshen up.

Of course, I decided to keep this as a surprise for Karious, even though I had already told him that we would have lunch together. He believed he would pick me up from my company, but little does he know, I have planned to visit his workplace instead.
