(Kim's Point of View)

I peered across the adjacent sofa at Arthur. He was absorbed in a pair of office files Lucas had brought 30 minutes earlier, and to my chagrin, Mrs. Evans was also present, but at this juncture, she wasn't my problem; Arthur was.

I angled my head, scrutinizing Arthur's face, my hands itching to photograph his deadpan look, and those spectacles at the bridge of his nose were always doing something to me, it was as if he was aware of the effects they had on me.

Sighing, I eventually shifted my concentration away from Arthur's flawless features and onto the magazine in my hand, without reading a single word.

Did I like Arthur?

Yes, I appreciated Arthur as a person. He attempted to seem frigid, but it was only because of the circumstances. Arthur had smiled at me a few times, and he appeared even more exquisite with a grin, while my heart thumped and chuffed every time I was gifted with his beautiful smile.
