(Evy's Point of View)

"Baby,"

I sprang awake as I felt warm hands pull me up.

My eyes flew open as I saw Seb carry me off the floor. As he placed me on the bed, my arms reflexively wrapped around his neck, hugging him and refusing to let go.

After snuggling me beneath the covers, Seb sat next to me on the bed. He gave me a troubled look. "You're making me worried, sweetie; you haven't been yourself in a long time."

I nearly missed what he was saying until my hazy eyes rested on the phone and my recollections were revived.

"You said five minutes, but when I got in, you were asleep on the floor. Is there anything I should know, Evelyn?" He continued, this time using my name, and I understood how scared he must have been to have seen me asleep on the floor, with heated cheeks and shallow eyes.

Should I inform him about the message? It was only fair that he was aware of what was going on; I didn't want him to be upset, but what if I was dragging him into my mess? Nate might also harm him
