I drove like a mad man, violating every traffic rule.

I was full of rage, how could she do that to me, to us?

I got to the office, ignoring any greeting I heard. I stormed inside my office, kicking the chair in front of me.

I never for once thought Maddie could do this. Yes it was a stretch filing for custody of the kids. But it was for her protection.

“Bro it's everything alright?” Mark and Alex walked into my office.

Alex and Greta came back from their honeymoon days ago.

“You stormed in, without saying a word to anyone.” Alex said

I looked at them, my throat dry. How do I explain everything that had happened to them?

“You both need to sit down for this.” They both sat down and I explained in full details everything that had happened.

“I knew Maddie wasn't who she said she was.”

“I couldn't believe she could belittle herself like that.”
