After our argument, I was fuming! How could Mom act this way? She had completely ignored my opinion and treated me like I was a child.

My temper boiled over, and I couldn't take it anymore. I strode to my bedroom and slammed the door shut behind me, not wanting to be near her for another second while she acted as if she had total control over me!

Grrr!!

It was clear that I couldn't trust her to make the right decision for me anymore, so I decided to stick to my plan with or without her consent.

In the morning, I didn't bother staying and having breakfast with her. Instead, I hopped in a cab and went straight to Hunter's house again.
