Vesa had let Sebastian go and the man had disappeared from their sight.
At this moment some of Vesa's classmates were looking at him with strange looks that Vesa didn't understand.
Vesa turned around to face Derrick. He exhaled slowly. He's finished now. He had just wanted to make a good impression on Derrick by fighting Sebastian but it seemed the opposite had happened. He had given Derrick and his friends a bad impression of him being out of control.
"I'm fine," Vesa said.
The man lowered his head slightly. He thought he would lose a friend who wasn't even officially his friend yet.
"That's good then. Do you want to go to the cafeteria first? You seem to need a drink," Derrick said.
"Huh!?" Vesa raised his head in surprise.
Uh, did he hear wrong, didn't he? Derrick White took him to the cafeteria? Vesa thought in confused.
"Why are you still silent? Let's go to the cafeteria first!" Derrick invited him again.
Derrick who saw Vesa still silent like an idiot then dragged Vesa out of their lecture hall. Vesa was still a little dazed when they reached the cafeteria.
"Wait and sit here for a bit!" Derrick asked.
Vesa complied and sat down without asking. He saw Derrick walking to an automatic machine to buy a drink. Derrick handed him a bottle of cold mineral water and Vesa just stared.
"Drink it!" Derrick said.
Vesa was still surprised but he accepted the drinking water but didn't open it. He just held the bottle in confusion.
Derrick huffed in annoyance and said, "Hey, did you forget how to open the bottle?"
Vesa stammered, "N-no. That's not what I meant."
Derrick raised an eyebrow then snatched the bottle and quickly opened the bottle cap. He handed it to Vesa then said, "Drink it and cool your brain!"
Derrick then sat beside him and breathed a sigh of relief when Vesa finally drank the water. The mineral went straight to the point.
“Gosh. That's six hundred milliliters and you just finished it? You're quite thirsty, aren't you?" Derrick chuckled softly.
Vesa awkwardly replied, "Isn't that right?"
And that suddenly made Derrick laugh out loud especially seeing the innocent expression on Vesa's face.
"Gosh, Vesa. You are. Truly."
Derrick shook his head as he realized Vesa was actually quite innocent. He thought it was appropriate that many would bully him. The boy was too naive and innocent.
Suddenly a feeling of guilt came over him. He remembered what he had done to the young man sitting in front of him.
Derrick then cleared his throat.
"Vesa, I'm sorry."
Derrick's words were quite low but Vesa could hear him quite clearly. However, the young man didn't raise his voice to reply because he didn't understand why Derrick was apologizing.
Derrick, who didn't hear Vesa replying to him, then said, "Uh, you. You didn't hear? Well, I'll repeat it again, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for all the bad things I've done. Do you accept it?"
Vesa stared in shock. He's not hallucinating, was he? Was the one sitting in front of him really that arrogant young man? The young man who often flaunts his parents' wealth and looks down on others whose social status was below him, including himself.
Was it really that Derrick White? That arrogant Young Master? How could that Derrick White ever apologize to someone? Especially him.
Was this young man having a concussion or what?
Yesterday he drove himself home and then defended him even to the point of having an argument with his best friend which resulted in Derrick losing Sebastian as his best friend.
Continue this? He's apologizing.
Hey, how could he change so fast? Did this have anything to do with that old watch? Was that true?
Vesa looked at Derrick who was waiting for his answer with a complicated expression. But then Vesa thought maybe Derrick had started to change so he replied, "I've forgotten about it. Don't think about it anymore."
Derrick was surprised but then smiled in relief. He said, "Thank goodness. I thought you still had a grudge against me. By the way you were cool earlier. I just found out you can actually fight back but why have you been silent all this time when someone bullied you?"
Derrick remembered it well, never once did Vesa fight back. He just kept quiet, more accurately ignoring the people who always bothered him.
"I'm just lazy. I don't like making noise and attracting people's attention," Vesa replied quietly.
"What!? Are you lazy? Why? Even if at first you wanted to defend yourself, the incident wouldn't last long. And maybe they'll be quicker to deter than you silence their actions," Derrick said.
Vesa smiled faintly. He replied, "I don't think it's necessary. It's useless anyway. I can still study in peace too. So it's no problem for me."
Derrick really wondered why anyone could be so calm and relaxed when he was often treated unfairly.
"You can't do that. You have to fight people who bother you like that. At least it will make you more comfortable on campus," Derrick said.
Vesa then replied, "Fine. I'll fight back. But I'm glad you defended me too. By the way, thanks for your help earlier."
Vesa smiled sincerely. Hearing this Derrick's ears immediately turned red. He was very shy.
"Hey, don't say those words. I get goosebumps hearing you say it. I look like I've done something big. Even though I was just ... I was just ... well I sucked," Derrick said again, looked embarrassed.
Vesa was getting more and more confused by Derrick's unusual attitude but quickly said, "You're not bad. I really thank you because you were the first to stand up for me."
Derrick just rubbed his face. "Yeah. Vesa, stop it!"
Derrick really felt weird but somehow his heart warmed up.
Oh, so this was what it felt like to do good.
Pretty fun, Derrick thought. He smiled stupidly.Vesa shook his head and thought more and more that Derrick White wasn't as bad as he thought.
Suddenly Derrick reached out his hand and said, "Vesa Araya, let's be friends!"

The news that Derrick White had made friends with a Vesa Araya who incidentally was known as a poor student quickly spread.
Some of them even looked at them strangely as they walked together. However, many still looked down on Vesa and Derrick White would only stare at them.
And of course after that they didn't dare stare down condescendingly again. They didn't want to get into trouble with a descendant of the White family.
Sebastian Wright who saw his former friend getting closer to Vesa clenched his fists. His father had slapped Sebastian when he found out that his stupid son had cut off his friendship with Derrick White.
Sebastian's father fears that it will affect the business partnership that exists between the Wrights and the Whites.
Therefore Sebastian's father asked his son to make up with Derrick. Unfortunately, lately Derrick was always seen with Vesa and it makes it difficult for him to approach Derrick again.
"Damn, that poor guy. Following Derrick everywhere," one of Sebastian's friend said and he also didn't like seeing Vesa and Derrick's friendship.
"Bastard, indeed!" Sebastian cursed.
"George, have you prepared what I asked for yesterday?" Sebastian asked irritably.
"It's done, boss," George said with a crooked smile.
Sebastian smirked "Good, then. It's time for the poor man to get his revenge."
The end of semester exams were over, it was time for Vesa to carry out the plan that he had been working on for a long time. He had been waiting for this day for a long time. He would soon find a job to earn money for his trip to Indonesia. As far as Vesa was concerned, during the holiday period, many shops opened part-time or temporary job vacancies. He knew it's not easy to get a job with a high school diploma but he's going to try anyway. The young man stepped cheerfully out of the campus building. Vesa was alone this time. Derrick White, who had been his best friend for almost a month, went home first. Derrick was invited by his father to visit his relatives who were being treated at Fulham. Vesa walked while playing on his cellphone to the bus stop not far from campus. However, that day seemed to be an unlucky day for him because suddenly, just as he was about to cross, he was pulled by two people he didn't know. One of them covered his mouth and dragged him by force into
Vesa Araya had actually sent those two useless creatures to the boss who had ordered them. They rang the Wrights' doorbell with trembling hands and immediately got an answer from the security guard in charge of the house. "Good morning, I'd like to drop off a package for Young Master Wright," said the nervously speaking blonde. "Oh, okay. Just a minute, I'll open it," said the security guard. "I'm sorry, but Young Master Wright must take this package himself," the black haired man continued as he was already breaking out in a cold sweat. He occasionally looked back and immediately cursed in his heart because the poor man was still standing nearby, watching them with his cold gaze. "Wait a minute! Who is the sender of this package?" the security guard asked suspiciously and he still hadn't opened the door for the people who delivered the package. "Oh, this is from Mr White, I mean Young Master White, Young Master Wright's best friend," the blonde one replied. The security
Vesa Araya was staring blankly at Derrick White who was smiling innocently at him. "Derrick, I told you this wasn't a vacation. Why are you even taking strangers along?" Vesa said in a little annoyed. "I didn't invite strangers. I only took two of my best friends. This is Lucas and this one is Lay, they are twins," Derrick said, who again showed his innocent face when introducing them. Vesa spun the ball lazily. Of course he immediately knew Derrick's two friends were twins. How not if the two were very similar like betel nut halved. They also wore the exact same clothes even the same color. The accessories were the same, plus their suitcases were the same. Vesa was very surprised, why were there two adult humans who still want to dress up like that? Oh, come on. They were indeed twins, but was it necessary to have to wear the same clothes like that? Well, twins were always cute in Vesa's eyes, but they must be twenty years old, right? It's very strange to still maintain the
"When are you retiring, Ruslan?" Valentino asked. "I will never retire. Aren't you tired of asking that a thousand times, Sir?" Ruslan asked back. Valentino sighed. Ruslan just stood silently behind his Master whom he had served for over twenty-five years. "I just want you to rest, Ruslan. You're not young anymore. You need time for yourself," Valentino said, not wanting to give up. "I am almost sixty years old but my abilities have not decreased, Master. You must know about it too," Ruslan said stubbornly. "You ... huh, when did you stop worrying about me? Many other bodyguards can protect me. You can't push yourself anymore. You've done too much for me," Valentino said. His face looked sad. "Master, I already told you that I will never retire. I will look after you till I die. I made a promise after you helped me. Sir, please allow me to accompany you until death. Because that is my way of thanking you." Valentino apparently could not get the man who was several years o
In the end, Derrick booked a king-size room with two beds. He happily took a picture of it and sent it to his father. Oh, finally Vesa understood. Why didn't he think more? Of course, a Derrick White wouldn't be willing to stay in a cheap hotel. Because it would make his friend's self-esteem fall. After all, staying in a seven-star hotel for months too, the White family's money would not run out. Derrick did not stop photographing every part of the room and then said, "Come on, together!" Vesa rolled his eyes lazily. He also just remembered, Derrick loved to show off anything on his personal social media. "Vesa, come on. Don't be so excited!" Derrick pulled Vesa's hand who could only surrender. He thought there was nothing wrong with making Derrick happy, after all he was able to get to Indonesia too thanks to his friend. "It's great in here. The lighting is perfect, Derrick." Lucas was standing by the balcony. Derrick smiled and immediately took a photo there. The four yout
Derrick White was so curious that he couldn't sleep thinking about Vesa's father who they couldn't find where he was. It feelt like something was wrong here. There was no way one could not be found in modern times like this. Everything was progressing, it should be easier to find people. "Is he not on the internet?" Derrick muttered to himself. His friends were asleep and all snoring. He started to get irritated as the three people who were sleeping like the dead grew louder with their snoring. Reluctantly, the young man who was currently wearing knee-length shorts got up from his bed. He decided to get out of his room and go for a walk alone. Truly Derrick was uncomfortable being alone in a strange place, but because boredom had almost made him want to jump off the top floor, he chose to throw the discomfort away. He walked down the hall in the hotel while occasionally looking in various directions. He saw some of the paintings on the walls and was amazed by them. He was very i
"I'm sorry, you have to sign first if you want to borrow the magazine," the librarian said. Derrick was dumbfounded. He glanced at his right hand which was currently holding the business magazine. He smiled apologetic and finally followed the employee and filled out the loan list and signed his signature. "Is it done?" Derrick asked, who couldn't wait to run to the room where he was staying. "Sure. You have to return it before you check out," the stiff clerk said and Derrick quickly nodded. "Thank you," the young man said. He immediately sped off after saying goodbye to the officer who just shook his head at the behavior of the young man who he thought was very strange. Derrick impatiently pressed the elevator button while occasionally glancing again at the magazine he was holding tightly as if it were a magazine that was very precious to him. "Oh, Vesa. You'll have to thank me later," he muttered proudly. Derrick collided with someone while getting out of the elevator. "
"Okay, there's no other way. I think that's all we can do for now," Vesa said. "But, Vesa. Why can't you just be honest with your father? How about you just tell him that you're in Indonesia now? I'm sure your father couldn't refuse to see you," Lucas said. Vesa bit his lower lip. "I don't know if that's a good idea," Vesa replied. "Why is that? Wouldn't it be better if you asked him directly so we don't have to go here and there looking for him?" Vesa shook his head, "It's just that I feel my father will be angry after I follow him here." Lay joined in the conversation, "But Vesa, won't it be the same later you will find out. Tomorrow you will also meet him, you went there to look for him and ask him right? So why cover it up again?" Derrick White who saw Vesa looking confused finally spoke again, "Actually I don't think there's anything wrong with you contacting him directly. Anyways you're going to meet him, delaying telling him I think will just make you more troubles
