Getting Normal

“Why are you crying?” He asked as he looked at her face. He was holding her hands in his while looking at her face gently. All the earlier anger disappeared. He looked concerned. He was furious at himself that he had made her cry, but he did not show his anger. He did not want to scare her more than she looked at that moment.

“I told you not to report him. I don’t want to see you locked up in jail. The past is in the past. I have already forgotten about it.” She said with a bit of annoyance while she had mist in her eyes.
