31~ Support System

Amelia felt like her heart was about to explode from the way it kept thumping loudly in her chest.

For a moment, she couldn't tell whether she was having a nightmare or the police had really come for her in real life.

She only came back to her senses when she felt cold metal on her wrists. Her stomach turned when she looked at her hands which were now cuffed.

"Are cuffs necessary?" She couldn't help but ask even though her heart kept beating rapidly. The policemen looked intimidating with guns on their waists.

"It's just standard procedure Miss Scott." Came the reply of one of the officers. He had short brown hair with a scar on his left eyebrow that almost reached his eye.

The other one had long hair that was pulled up into a manly bun with a thick beard and diamond studs in his ears. Amelia mentally raised an eyebrow but she didn't voice her thoughts. She thought he looked pretty.
