Uncontrollable feeling

As soon as Esme brought the keys,I opened the door and stormed into her bedroom.

I met her sitting on the floor in front of the bed.

She was crying.

When she lifted up her head to stare at me,my anger instantly faded.

Tears mixed with mascara slid down her delicate cheeks and I have no idea why I feel like a terrible person right now.

“Stop crying.”I ordered,calmly.

She sniffed and wiped the tears away with the back of her hands.

As if she thought of something painful,she started to cry more.

Fuck!

I slowly moved closer to her.

“Stop crying.”I cooed,placing my hand on her shoulder.

I have no idea what to do at this point.

She was crying so sadly and it annoyingly made me feel sad as well.

“I’m sorry.”I heard myself saying.”I’m so sorry.”And then,I pulled her into my arms.

She buried her face into my chest and sobbed,softly.

I slowly rubbed my hand on her back trying to pet her as much as I can.

She feels so delicate in my arms,so small and I just want to keep holding her.
