I looked at her, studying her features. Her dark hair was slightly damp, probably from the shower, cascading down her back like a river. Her deep brown eyes stared at me, her brows slightly furrowed as she eyed me worriedly. She had changed into a pair of black jeans and a simple white shirt.

"Okay," I nodded at her. "I'll stop worrying about this. I'm pretty sure whatever will happen, will happen for good."

She grinned at me and went back to her food.

"By the way, why were you drenched last night? You didn't tell me anything when I asked," Olivia said after some time, pointing her fork at me accusingly.

My grip on the glass of water which I held in my hand, tightened as I recalled the events of last night. "I was pushed into the pool," I gritted out.

"Who pushed you?" Olivia asked, pushing a stray lock of her hair away from her face.

"Ethan Evans!" I said through gritted teeth, his name leaving a bad aftertaste in my mouth. "I hate that guy
