The two officers looked at her for quite some time, as though contemplating on what next to say.

The other officer cleared his throat before speaking up, "Your assistance has been of great help, Ms. Emma. We will keep you informed if any new developments arise. As a safety measure, there is a police officer stationed just outside your door," the senior officer informed, while his partner took notes.

Emma nodded as she wiped away her tears, attempting to compose herself. "I'm glad I could be of assistance. If there is anything else I can do, please don't hesitate to let me know," she spoke softly as she sniffed back her tears.
