Chapter 22

The following morning, I was waiting for him since 4am. He came down around 6am and was fully dressed for work. He was shocked to see me seated on the sofa while waiting for him at that time of the day.

He looked at me and walked towards the door. I immediately stood up and ran towards the door before he opened. I blocked him from opening the door.

He looked at me with his gaze piercing through my soul, I refused to back down. I asked with all boldness,

" Why did you reject my admission?"

" Because I don't want you to attend that university" he said calmly

"Why?" I inquired eager to know the reason why

" You don't have the right to question my decision" he said coldly

" I am going to question this particular decision since it's concerning me and my future" I retorted back despite the cold look he was giving me.

" And I am what? Your past?" He said moving closer with his piercing gaze still on me

" I didn't say that" I replied wondering where that was coming from

" You didn't say
