Chapter thirty-six

VERONICA

I’ve decided to finally meet up with Romeo.

Ever since we encounterd in that bathroom stall almost a month ago, with his empty threat over my baby that never came to pass, I had been stalling the meeting with him since then, but tonight I was suddenly pushed to finally go see him.

Recently, he sent a box reminding me of our supposed meeting and as I stared down at the creepy address and phone number from the box, in my hold, goosebumps erupted on my skin.

It was his final warning to me and the deadline for our meeting a week from now.

I don't think I can ignore anymore because deep down, I knew Romeo wasn't one to be messed with.

Tonight would be a good time to go and see him, seeing as I was alone.

Ace was at the gala, which for the first time ever, I was unreasonably uninvited to, courtesy of Chloe Kiss and her stuck up bestie, Jasmine I'm sure of that.

Now, I couldn't even know what was going on at the show because pictures weren't even allowed inside the main event.
