Chapter 21

Alexander POV

Alexander took out his phone from his pocket and dialled his mother's number. After a few rings, she answered the phone.

"Alexander, my son. How are you?" his mother said, her voice full of warmth and affection.

"I'm good, Mom. Listen, I have something important to tell you," Alexander said, his voice serious.

"What is it? Is everything okay?" his mother asked, concerned.

"I'm coming to visit you this weekend. And I'm bringing someone with me," Alexander said.

"Who is it? Do I know her?" his mother asked.

"No, you don't know her. Her name is Celine, and she's pregnant with my child," Alexander said, bracing himself for his mother's reaction.

"What? Pregnant? Alexander, what are you saying?" his mother exclaimed.

"It's true, Mom. I know it's a shock, but I want you to meet her and get to know her. She's important to me," Alexander said, trying to calm his mother down.

There was a long pause on the other end of the line, and Alexander could hear his mother taking deep brea
